Yup, got the disc,
But my friend who bought it 5-6 months earlier don't get the disc....
so, kinda random...

u mean we cant install other ori win7 beside the 1 from dell.

You can install other ori, but can't activate the windows using the key below since its activated already or its different version of windows...

The provided dvd should be no problem installing for other pc...
What I mean is the key on the sticker will not work for other dvd you get from other source, or most likely since that's what happened last time...

well if anyone has the master dvd for windows 7 home premium, please burn me a copy , as a backup use in case i need a patch over, so that it doesnt losses my date like a reformate

Fantasia I'm not sure, if it is called Windows Recovery or something like that then it is not the one we're talking about.

Basically the RE is useless because we want to do clean reinstalls without the Dell apps. We would just reinstall the Dell apps later.

For example I don't want the AntiVirus there forever, it needs to be uninstalled all the time... and it is "installed" on the system registry.

those without os dvd or win recovery disk but accidentally system corrupt how ? some more warranty expired !

If you haven't got the Win RE you can make it with a few DVDs... but then again it will be the Dell installed system... and if you did not back up, you lose stuff... which is less important nowadays as people are more aware of these things.

However, those of us who don't get the OS Disc... Z friggin Z

that's driver disc

All I see is white paper cover
Grey disc is apps, drivers and utilities,
Black is McAfee
Green is OS,
red is roxio
transparent is soundblaster
the only one with brown thick paper but still white cover, microsoft works....

how bout this ? OS disk or Windows Recovery ?
