theres no specific earphone thats better for your sony..as long as u get a good set of phones it can sound nice on almost any player. it depends on what u want to listen to and budget. what do u mean if hippo is compatible? yes it can fit your sony if thats what ur asking

cause hippo 10 price almost same with sony mdr-ex300 earphone.
so,don't know which better sound quality

if u wanna compare them both its hard to say cause ur taste might be different. But u can try out hippo iems at jaben to see if u like it. But if u look at past reviews of hippo they are all good =) and there are many types so see which one suites u better

if u are going for all rounder then M30 is the best bet... Audio Technica is a japan brand... =)
u can get them anywhere... Audio Technica alot of shops selling them recently... especially on lowyat forum... or u can go to Jaben Malaysia at Subang Jaya ( if you go there... go more poison for you... as you can audition the headphone before buying... )
