what u need is a CLOSED can headphone... not OPEN can headphone...

i would recommend u go for AD700 but it's out of ur list liao...

hello did anyone tried with the AKG K321 before? i wanna compare it with sonic gear ear pump 2 since 7 of my friend were using it now... and heard their reivew the ear pump is a good quality in-earphone.

Hi all, I've just got my Fiio E7 and it's a great portable amp with that kind of price. I've tried with all the headphones/earphones which i got but just haven't found the right one which I like. So far my Sony MDR-EX71 gives the best sound but i wanted to get something better.

I am looking for something with the clarity on the high and mid and still gives strong boomy bass. I'm not into techno but i'm into blues, rock, jazz and vocal. I don't mind whether it's cans or earbuds, i just wanted something to fit into those criteria. Few days ago i was eyeing on the AKG K512 and Pioneer SE-M290, because the sales person recommended them for their powerful bass for something below RM250. But there aren't any test unit there so i can't try them on.

Can someone help me here?

how does that compare to hippo vb? (I've just lost mine recently)
i don't preference to any particular genre, but i did enjoy the vb's depth.
i'm getting it at RM245, is that a good deal?

I had the triport once. Bought it at RM300, so RM245 is quite good.
What I can say is that it is very comfortable. It doesn't feel secure to me, as if it's going to fall off any moment, but it doesn't fall off. The bass, although powerful, can sometimes overpower other freq. It has ZERO isolation, hence why the bass had to be upped considerably to deliver bass with a decent impact. It sounds quite good though, a bit overpriced I think.

Oh yeah, be careful with the cables. Ssince they don't have strain relief, the cable can disintegrate at the jack and stalk of the earphones after a few months with vigorous movements.
