i believe ksc75 good for a first pair headphone... first pair cans will set the par for the taste since we tend to compare the sound signature with other cans later.... for me ksc75 is exceptionally good for its price vs performace ratio.... go for it...later upgrade abit by bit until you reach stax lol

Hey there guys, please recommened me a set of headphones. biggrin.gif
Budget : RM500

- Mostly used for serious music listening.
- Used on computer mostly.
- Type of music : i listen to many types of music, so i would prefer an all-rounder.
- Noise cancellation (my family watches tv in the same room, therefore i think i really need this feature)
- Most preferably headphones.

full can lorrrr...

but headphone ranging from RM100-200 then ur choices are quite limited...
go for audio technica headphone ( no need to use amp... ) pretty good without amp already... u better decide wat kind of headphone u wan before splurging on amp...

here's some choices of full can headphone for ur budget constraint...
1. Audio Technica M30
2. Audio Technica T22
3. Audio Technica ON3 ( loved this design, portable, light )
4. Audio TEchnica AD300
5. Audio Technica FC700
6. Audio Technica SQ5
7. Koss Portapro
8. Koss KSc75
9. Hippo SAfari

what u need is a CLOSED can headphone... not OPEN can headphone...

i would recommend u go for AD700 but it's out of ur list liao...

1. Audio M50 ( try for tiz if u had the BUDGET )
2. Audio Technica M30
3. Audio Technica A300/A500 ( dont worry it's closed can )

most of active noise cancellation feature is made specifically for airplane usage... it produce opposite soundwave that cancel inside plane noise ..so for room usage i think u will hear a bit distortion and sound quality will be impaired. i said go for close cans that cover your whole ear or opt for iem. iem have better isolation if it is your highest priority
