Just got my 12cm Aerocool Red devil rear fan. Still looks plain.

Thinking of getting more bling bling like those LED strips or something. What do you all suggest? tongue.gif

Yep, throw that intel stock cooler away. Get a gigantic CPU cooler (I prefer those can see the shining aluminum fins and tip of those heat pipes, rather than covered by plastic like those CM V series...).

Get rid of LED fans (it get boring overtime, and the glare can be annoying). Or get the latest fan from Corsair (anyone selling locally yet?), they are pretty darn COOL (but much expensive)

Get a couple of RAM heat spreader/cooler (just for the sake of looks if you want... RAM don't really get hot much), just watch out if you actually have space to install these.

Sleeve up the cables if you wish.

And yep, LED stripe FTW, flexible. I found these sell in cheap departmental store too, 30cm less than RM30 as what I bought last time (k that's pricey... guess there are differences in brightness. Saw a lot of cheap sales in this forum.).

Put another graphic card in there tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

I mean to say are these actual power cables connectors to pc components with LED lighting or just plain LED strips with the sole purpose of lighting up the casing?

Not with pc components. Is just a strip with a few led's for lighting only.

looks too much like the Silverstone sugo series chassis, the PSU seems smaller too... if it can fit a normal ATX PSU then its worth considering

Definitely not going to change CPU HSF fan? I doubt I would take drastic measures such as that lol

Anyway, assuming I do not change the processor HSF fan and I do not change my rear/front fans, where should I be placing the LED strips?

Try at various position to your liking. Put at the top quite nice, let the light shine down, but don't put too near side panel if yours is transparent. The light might shine out too much.
