(Elite 335) Here is some photos ~ » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Light Blue Theme! Looks great nice way to place the mobo stickers in the casing, is that a 5770 Vapor-X ? Added on November 16, 2011, 4:28 pmQUOTE(Polytechnic @ Nov 16 2011, 03:07 PM) BEST MID TOWER CASING IS ? ugh.. this is a tough cookie.... I'd say based on your budget but I'd say that the HAF912 Advanced & the CM690II are amongst the favourites here This post has been edited by Clem1982: Nov 16 2011, 04:28 PM

QUOTE(sixshot @ Nov 18 2011, 08:44 AM) at first i was contemplating whether to get Haf 912, CM 690 II or CM Storm Enforcer. can't decide which one. lol went to lowyat last week, examined one by one..and i straight away buy Haf 912. p/s: storm enforcer feels so damn plasticky. read review look so nice, but when i saw it in real life.. Good for u then but honestly chassis preference is a very subjective thing.. of course we choose based on our budget and needs but the styling will differ from one to another.. I for one never liked the design of the HAF series but that doesn't stop other people from buying them

QUOTE(yuvster @ Nov 19 2011, 12:46 AM) I'm using the Storm Enforcer.. The reason I took it was mainly cause it looks so freakin' cool and also the top bay comes ready with USB 3.0... But I'll be frank and say that in terms of performance, the HAF series are actually a bit better than the CM Storm series (Storm Trooper excluded).. Final thing is that choose based on how much you willing to splurge on your computer's tower.. I initially used an Elite 430 then sold it off and upgraded to my CM Storm Enforcer.. Not something I'd recommend considering the amount of work I had to do to transfer all my stuff but that can be an option for you to choose.. Form an entry level casing to a gaming grade casing is worth it I'd say.. yes there are tons of things to do when transferring all the hardwares but IMHO its enjoyable once a while Added on November 19, 2011, 10:01 amQUOTE(Source96 @ Nov 19 2011, 03:37 AM) Its been weeks i'm using Trooper..And i found out my top 20cm Fan is kinda like a defective 1..everytime i start my PC,a weird noise will appear from the top fan.Well,im planning to change it..What do you guys suggest? A new 20cm fan / 2x Artic F12 ? Well that depends on your urgency... the AC F12 is readily available in the market and so does a couple of 200mm from CM... generally one big fan is better than 2 smaller ones though.. if u can wait.. maybe u would wanna wait for Bitfenix's new "Spectre Pro" line of fans to hit the market?? it ranges from 120mm to 230mm and they have LEDs that can be turned off This post has been edited by Clem1982: Nov 19 2011, 10:01 AM

QUOTE(FiragaZ @ Nov 23 2011, 08:18 PM) Nope, with good cable management skill, you still able to make it look very neat, make sure you use cable tie. Come on, look at the side transparent panel and front blue led, don't you fall in love with it? Lol I didn't know u sell chassis now anyway TS its kinda true actually.. good cable mgt wil make a difference even though the casing is not designed with interiors to cope with it... take a look at the cable management thread to get some tips... and having a modular PSU will help as well

QUOTE(SnoopyDevil @ Nov 24 2011, 04:56 PM) that's right, i felt in love with it the moment i saw the side window and blue LED fan (which is easy to DIY i guess ) Added on November 24, 2011, 4:59 pmi agree. i only have very little cable management skill, so most probably will let one of the pros at LY to assemble for me when i bought the parts. lol u mean the salespeople in the shops?? forget it, they will not spend time to do cable mgt for u... so long as the PC is running then they will pack it for u already.. unless u r paying specifically for cable management job or u meet with nice and free salesperson lolz

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Dec 6 2011, 11:31 PM) V6GT uses CM Xtraflo. Which is the same fan as the Blademaster. It is only loud at max RPM. H100's fan is also freaking loud and it's quite normal. If you want high performance, high static pressure fans that are not loud (or acceptable at max speed) you can get either the Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP15 or Noctua IIRC the fans can be replaced right?? so whats the issue of fan noise ??

QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Jan 5 2012, 11:24 AM) Is it a time for me to change my big case to this one??? I love how the hdd cage manage. But i kinda worry the fan controllers, mostly those case who started to have problem started from fan controllers.... if u have seen the review it does have drawbacks.. the doors are dual layered and can house dual 120mm fans there between them... so its kinda thick and a side panel window might prove impossible.... another one is that the doors must swing open by 45 degrees before it could be taken off so u gotta place the chassis in a certain way so that nothing would be in the way and its damn heavy!!

Frankly speaking the 840 is one of the best and it offers a different kind of chassis compared to the cosmos line... I personally don't like front doors covering the bays but I gotta admit the 840 was an exception

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Jan 16 2012, 01:19 AM) Without those 4 ugly things sticking out of the casing, I'd say it's a pretty decent casing by CM To each his own I think.... those handlebars are what the Cosmos line is famous for ... everyone has their own preferences
