I mean thanks for the filter pic. Mine already like that, so don't need another one.

This filter too small to fit directly onto 2T carb, more suitable for 4-stroke bikes... but not good also, bad for performance. Unless you wanna do what I do, which is to destroy the paper element, and just leave the metal grill as filter.

At first thought this coming TT I bring RGV one, then maybe you get your friend to join us and we exchange ideas loh.

A little info about our TT
"All of us ride slow and easy one, we not rempit round island. Stop by kopitiam once a while, pam gas once a while, relax bah... then we sembang exchange idea, have lecture on komponen-komponen motusikal..."

Attires: If you guys have bike clothes/track clothes wear them, long pants/jeans , bring along your riding gears as well - gloves.etc. If you guys have raincoat please do bring it as well, never know when you need them.

what major mods can be done ? top speed of those who already mod their bike ? stock bike can touch 140km/h easily. Just want to know modded bike how ?

1st the lc meter on each bike r not the same. its kinda show the wrong actual speed. if modded with 170cc can reach about 140kmph in gps speed aka lc gp style koso meter in gps setting>>>can refer to c&g post.

How can I ride slow at Teluk Bahang and all those corners Gua Ketagihan Corner mia LOL later some more go chase ppl kena International Hand Sign XD I am thinking of borrowing my fren de 125z but I am not familiar with his clutch haizzz Si Hui later sia sui XD kena almost every time when stop

the lc meter just creative nia with rpm meter inside stock lc meter.tht really save budget but u can't hv the accurate meter reading with stock meter. the 2nd was way beyond expectation 125 head on 135 bike.

and about the cdi i borrowed from bro charge..

i will write out a few diference.. mayb in a few more rounds.. when the engine already recognise the different cdi.. mayb it will change a bit also..

2nd gen cdi vs 3rd gen cdi

1) less jerking vs more jerking
2) top speed : 106/107 vs 110
3) air-filterless : sound louder a bit vs so so

Similarities

1) cut off still at 9.2k


but when i go down penang bridge.. top speed hit 112km/h at 9.2k.. max.. but then on the straight road after go down.. top speed decrease to 110km/h at 8k..

i think wind kinda strong also...i tunduk a bit..

so bizzy.. if u wan try my cdi.. hahaha.. u will jerk like mad.. heheh.. =)

overall.. 2nd gen cdi nicer feeling.. but the cdi both look the same only..haha..

mayb cause i use ron97 today.. top speed increase a bit.. LOL

XD Yesterday put back my air-filter tekan once tok engine start d, without air-filter I nid to open choke... Does it mean after taking out air-filter make it lean and hard to start??? Next TT aaron we try on traffic light from 0 kmh to top speed...

i take out air filter.. easier to start.. LOL.. put back.. hard to start.. ur carb got usik before..?

Of course XD gua syok syok tok go pusing sini dan sana XD now air-screw 2 round last time when i change the firestorm charge pulas my bike and said too much air d so I close and 1/4 turn... With air-filter my bike runs smoothly... If calvin wan to replace the drop in with mushroom head, does he nid to ply with the jetting ar??? So that more fuel can be mixed with the additional air... Tai Lou or Alexi can tolong pls =)

yeah, this should be the normal case. Imagine with air filter, the intake stroke cause low pressure in the carb and pull more petrol out from the carb. When no air filter, because air flow is smoother, the intake stroke don't cause low pressure in the carb area... naturally, need choke open to give extra petrol. Which is similar, if air filter block, the engine burns richer...

Aaron, Bizzy: what is the idling RPM after your bike warm up liao? example when waiting traffic light agak agak what is the engine RPM? Wait, LC got RPM meter one or not?

I'm just back from 268... installed the UMA coil.. masih ok ok lo... and then buy the rim's reflector sticker to stick to my rim.. look ok ok lo... =.=
