New Radio is available 2.14.50.04.

Its a tmous radio get it from here ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788575

Initial feedback is better signal. Battery life not much to say yet as just release. Feel free to test if it is better or worse for your location.

hi guys..wat is the original radio version for SIS set? izit 2.07.51.22_2 ?

im planning to flash back stock rom and radio...first thing is to flash back

original radio , after that running stock rom from sd card right?
*
The stock rom comes with radio. So you do not need to flash any radio.

Any reason why you are flashing back to stock rom?

But the stock rom i downloaded has Radio 2.06.51.07..i do remember mine is 2.07....smthing last time, b4 i start to flash custom ROM or new radio..In case i needed to send for warranty, so better for me to learn now b4 i forget everything..

so the best way to flash back Official ROM is by SD card or just running the .exe Official ROM file?

I know flashing from SD card will wipe out everything including HSPL..How abt if i dun wan to do that?Flashing by running .exe file after that change HSPL to spl

1.42 by using HSPL2 ?

Am i correct? thanks fro advice..
*
Yes your correct. Flashing from SD will change hspl to spl. Running the exe would not remove hspl. So you have to run HSPL2 and change it to spl. Anyway, you can always check spl/hspl before you send it in by going to tricolor screen just to be safe.

Not sure about the original radio, but last ROM from HTC for SEA is ROM Version: 1.66.707.1 with radio 2.06.51. Are you sure about the radio version.

Just asking, does anyone here have problem with their hd2 especially overheating. Some people have reported this on xda and it can get hot here in malaysia.

i think the unit is faulty i cant even load into the OS, some ppl at xda also having this kind of issue but most of them send back for warranty.

problem is i cant even load into os if i flash the stock rom + radio rom by entering into bootloader will HTC technical know i was in custom rom?

i need more clarification before i send it in.
*
Have you tried cooling down your device (pulling out the battery overnight or putting it in the frige) and flashing using SD card again. If you still got custom rom/radio in your device and the service center manage to boot your device then your warranty will be void.

Your device is not brick (since you can still get into bootloader) so there is a risk in sending it in with custom rom/radio

Also check all 3 battery pins on your device. Many have reported that a bent pin (especially the middle one) can cause the device not to boot.

Does HSPL permanently embedded and ready to switch to other rom without uninstalling the HSPL back to SPL?

Isit safe to update official rom with HSPL enable phone or require it revert back to SPL mode ? will the official rom overwriting the HSPL back to SPL mode ?
*
HSPL is permanent until:
1) you remove it using hspl program itself
2) flash official ROM from SD card (flashing official rom from usb would not remove it)

You can flash official rom with HSPL installed. Make sure you have HSPL before flashing custom rom or any radio.
Just to check, your HD2 is normal or tmobile (with green and red button).

I got the T Mobile US version, Im wondering isit common HD2 rom particular only for International version or compatible with TMUS version ?

my phone is with dutty de la creme rom which is HSPL smile.gif

thx for tip
*
Be careful with Tmobile version. DO NOT flash stock ROM from HTC. DO NOT flash radio with 2.xx.51 (note the 51). ONLY flash radio 2.xx.50 (note the 50) and DO NOT flash radio before 2.07 (meaning no flashing radio 2.06, 2.05 etc.)

Doing any of this will permanent brick your device.

Oh and use 2.08HSPL from HSPL3.

Since you manage to flash back to stock rom and have removed your HSPL, then i think u can send it in to service center. I have seen this error before in XDA. They are down for maintenance again, so i can't check right now.

Edit. Checking on XDA it seems no one have posted a successful fix. I say send it back to service center since you have flashed stock ROM and removed HSPL.

i've sent to sis for warranty, its a mainboard faulty.  tongue.gif  luckily i still manage to revert back to SPL.

Which center did u send it in to? I probably will be sending my unit back as well. It is restarting whenever i use for calls (about 2 min on 2g restart), gps (15 - 20 mins restart), surfing internet with 3g, watching video, playing games etc.

Did they tell u how long it will take to replace MB?

The SMS issue have been reported by some using earlier version of htc messaging.

Lag/hang issue i can't comment much without more detail. But I never experience this before cos I use custom rom and does not use sense.

If you feel brave enough I would actually recommend you to flash latest custom rom.

I send to plaza berjaya.

I have use without issue radio 2.10, 2.11 and 2.12. The best is 2.12 as it have great battery life. But I do not have any issue with GPS on any of these radio.

If you are not having issue with phone or gps there is no reason to upgrade. Actually the main difference for me is that radio 2.10 and above have great battery life. With 2.12 in standby and 3g line, I only lose about 3% battery in 6 hours.

antt00, i'm using 2.07.51.22 radio version and i'm quite frustrated with the battery consumption. how do i change from my current radio version to 2.10 and above???
*
First: Is your device normal HD2 or Tmous HD2 (with red and green call/end button). If normal HD2 proceed to next step. If Tmous, do not flash ANY Radio before 2.07.x or radio with the .51 example 2.xx.51.xx Radio or you could brick your phone!!

Second: Install HSPL from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433
Choose either 1.42.HSPL or 1.66.HSPL (You will not lose any data)
If you have tmous HD2 you must use 2.08.HSPL. Please be careful so you don't brick your phone. (or you can just download hspl3 from the second post in this thread.)

Third: Download radio from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
I recommend radio Leo_RADIO_2.12.50.02_2. But you can try others to see whichever suites you.

Fourth: Flash Radio. The guide is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
You will need CustomRUU.exe to flash. If it is in the radio file you download fine but if it is not there you will find it in the guide above. (You will not lose any data)
