I have an HTC HD2 with an internal GPS receiver, and I'm searching for GPS Navigation software for Windows Mobile 6.5, without needing internet access (so not Google maps, because you have to stream the map all the time)..for map malaysia..anyone have it..please share here..hehe

after flashing to android, and to wp7, i think wm6.5 suits my needs.maybe gonna need to wait for wp7 to stable first (especially on the camera).

I kinda hate mapking interface,
Id prefer Garmin due freindly UI, updated map & smaller map filesize. For android Papago and Sygic Aura.

well I dont really know maps for offroad jungle roaming, they do existed but I think its not cheap and mostly use for Forestry Ranger (Renjer Perhilitan), so far the cheap way I know is Google Terrain, its not much detail but that depends on active line coverage. Finger tapping is actually alot easier than using stylus. Iv been play with stylus since PPC2002, when play with my old Diamond. I feel 'very old. If u need T9 keypad (like normal cellphone layout) search for HTC Phone PAD for VGA (xdadevelopers)

look for kingmax battery for HD2 in lelong.com, very easy to find. Other realiable brand like Andida, I found that before in lelong. BUT some review (XDAdeve forum) mention hi capacity battery like Andida only offer longer standby (less use) but in real usage, performance with moderate usage no better than original battery. This I cannot confirm how true this but for backup purpose I think this 2 brand is ok

Hi,

Anyone know how to change the calendar view (dark and small font) to the outlook calendar?

The Outlook's calendar view is much easier to view as the fonts is bigger and clearer

TQ

There is no way to get your gps works without the maps. The maps will need to be dl thru data plan while you driving. you can cache the map into your phone but it has it limitation. I search around also on offline GPS but all of them dont really work well. You need a large space, probably more than GB to download the offline maps into your phone, and they charge on their service too. Google maps is the best for this moment but it dont work offline, unfortunately.

with the garmin mobile xt u can navigate offline but need to crack it to use, u can google it and the map also not big and free, u can download the malsingmaps for free too .....about 200mb? hmm.gif
