my one originally is thermal pad...right ur one there is thermal paste edi right? i suggest u wipe it off first...my friend say Minyak Angin Cap Kapak can work..lol...then only apply ur thermal paste there la..that's what i did for my desktop CPU...bloody effective

mmm...facebook actually trace the ip location of login...
i just encounter login from a location not familiar with...

Minyak Angin Cap Kapak = Legend ..but wipe with this sure very the 'berangin' one ...

Well, better wipe the remaining paste first before applying the new one, later i won't be spread evenly if put it on top of the current one ..and the pad is thick is see ...

The N82Jv only got two access door, one for ram, one for hdd, don't know what Asus is doing

done... monitoring temp... so far so good... idle abt 50C

folding @ 605/300 (default 550/667), now maintaining 60C... before this was abt 85C...

Fresh paste is just good

25C decrease is just ...before is 85C and now only 60C ..i guess clean-up really is a necessary routine for a laptop ..well, mine just done sucking out the dust

next thing we know astria's going to be overclocking to its card's limit...lol

outside temp is 13C now...

windows open, so assume air con condition in Malaysia...

Furmark peak out at 88C... back to first day getting laptop...

lol...9600M GT only 86C wor....maybe TX-3 is better eh?

how i wish i can do the same to the CPU... managed to remove the screws without tearing the seal... but the heatsink won't move at all...
