nahh. 100Mpbs is more than enough. Plus these days I heard not that many private servers anymore. What's the point of 1Gbps then biggrin.gif
It's actually RM1 per day. So around 120 for whole semester biggrin.gif
Not to mention the application itself is farking annoying. Get the form from accomodation office, fill it up, if forget port number must go back and check it then bring it back to the office to be cop, make payment at finance then at last, drop your application at KMC aka ITMS. And even then your internet will not be available on the spot. Lucky ones a few hours, not so lucky ones 1-2 days.

Though after they gave it away for 'free', not long after, the apartments were raised by RM10. With that alone they profit more than RM1 per day for internet since not many people take it and some just share it.

To be honest though, I like those times better. Not because I have to pay but when forced to pay only a few people applies for it. less people apply, less people use. more bandwidth for me  thumbup.gif

100Mbps would be decent la. 200 -500Mbps would be awesome whistling.gif whistling.gif

And some started using Potong P1 Wimax here. Dunno about performance though.

Parking's getting limited too.

I went to the Cendi accommodation office this noon, to fill in the next semester's accommodation appeal form.
This foreigner walks in, and the following conversation happens:

Foreigner: Hello, the room is still dirty.
Staff: We sent people to clean already.
Me:(Deep inside, WTF! You clean your own room la!)
Foreigner: Yes, but it is still dirty.. And some things are broken
Staff: Okay, we will send someone again.

They clean rooms for foreigners? What the.. doh.gif

I know that they have the cleaners clean their room, my question is, WHY?
If they can get the cleaners clean their rooms, then why can't we get them to clean ours as well?
Not being racist btw, i just feel that we as Malaysians are being treated as second class citizens.

Also, Ilmu is now renting out 2 blocks to males. Thing is, it's not for those that are taking regular Foundation and Degree programs there, it's for those that are under JPA, taking their ppou and stuff there. Apparently, they're more disciplined.
Seriously, more disciplined? Wtf!

I still love Uniten though. Uniten pusaka tersayang... lol

I believe it actually means the weight of the subject.
I'll give you an example, an important subject can carry up to 4 credit hours per semester, with 4+ hours of lecture and possible tutorial sessions a week.
On the other hand, you can also have 3 credit hour subjects with 2-3 hours of lectures a week, with/without tutorials.
Then again, you could also have a 5 hour long lab session every week, but it only carries 1 credit hour.

It's the weight of the subject. Hope this helps smile.gif

To be clearer;

Normal classes is 1 hour per 1 credit hour.
IT Labs are 2 hour per 1 credit hour.
Engineering labs I think 5 hour per 1 credit hour.
Curriculum is 3 hour per 1 credit hour.

There's a minimum credit hour per sem but I kinda forgot how much it was sweat.gif

More disciplined is not exactly the correct term, it's more to you fark up, you die.

Some PPC-Mara (fast track) guys are already there.

Uniten is despo for money that's why.

Thing is, i had a friend that took ppou here as well. He was already guaranteed a seat in an american university upon completion of his course.
He was under the Bank Negara scholarship programe.

I thought that in order for you to do ppou, you have to be a scholar? And you also should have your future mapped out, you cannot just simply take ppou in Uniten.
Or wait, you can? rclxub.gif
