Am wondering are original circuits designed to withstand higher currents for upgraded motors?
I hear Jet Dash/Ultra Dash & Plasma Dash have much higher current requirement & if installed on other non-tamiya RC cars that use similiar motors may burn the circuits. Also can someone give a price guide for different motors sold in local shop? This post has been edited by advocado: Sep 16 2010, 05:43 AM |

So for Tamiya 4wd, there's no modification needed to use the higher current requirement motors? Do they have better chips or wires?

QUOTE(lolhalol @ Sep 16 2010, 12:04 PM) you can use higher spec motors , but need some mods, else the pcb runs the the risk of getting burned . QUOTE(lolhalol @ Sep 16 2010, 03:26 PM) it not the amount , its the how you use it . |
