QUOTE(szngszng @ Sep 6 2010, 12:15 AM) well, owh thx for the information bro szngszng -19mm diameter will be bigger than bearing roller(7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 11mm, 13mm), 19mm has better performance on passing the join of the track. -19mm has plastic and rubber ring to be choose, meanwhile, bearing will be metal roller wall, metal wall will has 2 type: normal metal and fluorine coated. all of them will has diff gripping power to the track. -19mm roller's bearing spin less rpm than bearing roller on track, so bearing roller req higher quality to perform. -19mm has less position to setting due to it size is bigger. which roller position will be better and faster it will depend on layout and tyre setting. pls try out at the track. test and record, so you will know which is better in diff corner and car setting. |

because evo not fully well equip and the price is already so high... so if buy have to spend few hundreds again on it... while buying and making yourself would not be so expensive and well equip... imo
all i know evo have stronger chassis than those regular cars |

QUOTE(szngszng @ Sep 8 2010, 09:31 PM) are you sure?... every custom car i have is cost about 400~500 each. compare to EVO kit you need just about 200 plus motor, ball bearing and front bearing roller which not more than 100... hmm.. waa.. chassis keep changing if for EVO damn pain .. chassis limited edition chassis will not under consider since you need to change it frequently if you want performance... Added on September 8, 2010, 9:35 pmif you separate all the parts, you will realize evo kit actually lower price than what you purchase it 1 by 1...somemore some of the parts you can't get it in the market....hehe... |

QUOTE(szngszng @ Sep 9 2010, 12:12 AM) yeah, i agree with choycp, i am not that advance also, thus, i never own 1 set of EVO kit since MS evo debuted 2 years back. haha thx for the infos guys(including bro choycp).. appreciate it because i am still newbie btw, EVO chassis didn't mean it can last forever, every chassis has it's life cycle, after using several time it will bend and run out of shape, if you mind about the performance, you might decide to change the chassis, if you don't mind, you can keep on using. those minor changes of the chassis will cause some gear problem, jumping not straight, miss conductivity... if you got enough money, you might consider purchase EVO set only for the chassis (i know some ppl do this, hehe), you might also use normal VS box car's chassis for replacement. have to explain so long so you can understand and not misunderstand my meaning... |
