Well, its a nice movie anyway, preferred if it is a biography instead of a fictional story. Need to know the real story behind it all.

FB did it's damage to us all. We are all stalkers.  laugh.gif

the dialogue in this movie trumps over inception & whatever that emerge in theaters this year and thats makes this a movie to be remembered.

yes, granted; inception the movie gaves lots of ppl the goosebumps over the action, the layers of dream, the state of limbo but strip all that i can only think of 1 oscar nomination for them in effects.
its still a cool movie, i know.

I like the dialogues too. Especially when Mark was being an s-hole. rclxms.gif
But I don't quite remember how the dialogues are?
Mark: If they had the ability of creating facebook, they'd own it already.
Mark: I'm stuck here with you people while I should be in the office working with the people who're doing things none of you are intellectually capable of doing.
*Something like that. wink.gif

a quick search over the net will get u the movie quotes. of course, the whip-smart dialogues are best viewed with the scenes.

but u (h-yee) reviewed 'social network' movie, bland.. wink.gif

This movie could establish itself as one of the best cult films in the last decade. I keep on recommending this movie to my friends but sadly, most of them are not interested in it at all. I know a movie about founding the facebook sounds boring. Seriously, this movie is not just about how facebook is founded. I cant fathom why people nowadays prefer to watch 3D cartoons than a real, well-written, nicely-performed movie. Arent movie supposed to tell stories?

What to do? I PREFER action XD

Still love inception more rclxm9.gif

Personally, the only attention getter in the social network (action wise) is the smashing of the computer.
IF it weren't for the dialogues, it'd be downright boring.
Without their impressive dialogues, the whole movie just seems like a documentary to me.

*And that's okay actually, I like documentaries too. On a different degree. nod.gif

What? I'm just saying sweat.gif

Has anyone tried to analyze this movie yet? After a few days of thinking, I think this movie is about the validity of information in today's generation. As six degrees of separation is becoming a very integral part of our society due to the Internet, information and news are spread between people easily but the truth often does not come together with the information. As an example *SPOILERS WARNING*,

I might be wrong but this is what I'd gathered from the movie. Any other analysis?

on the surface its a simple movie & most importantly fun to watch.

fincher's pacing & back & forth timscale of the drama made it look easy & not confusing. granted he held back on his 'imagery' style but i too loved the boat race (oxford vs harvard & the parallel of harvards (boat) team lost is canvased on winklevoss brothers not taking action earlier)

i reckon that some people may feel intimidated by the (sometimes fast pace) dialogue hence their reluctance to watch it.

we can look back & recount how & why mark under shaun's 'spell' ambushed eduardo stake in th co. there are also many parallel i, myself can look back how its comparable to the people, friends i meet, worked with, got screwed with in business.

'that's life' as some may account it.

another fincher's movie thats in my best movie list.

I vote the A-team instead.

/runs.

Unless u have time constraints, Rapunzel is good with the family while The Social Network is more on a personal side.

This is deiniftely the best movie of 2010. No other movie come close to even being as good as this movie is. I find it interesting that there was, virtually, NO HYPE made for this movie prior to its release and yet, it turns out to be an excellent movie for me.

Watched this a couple of nights ago. And I enjoyed it very much.

Fast and fun dialogues, movie's pace is pretty fast too.

Just watched this. By far one of the most entertaining movie of 2010 and I believe this could bag the big one in February.

Fantastic perfomance from Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield (never watched one of his movies before!) and JT. Brilliant cast. And not to mention, the girls... are H O T biggrin.gif

Highly, highly recommended. After watching this, logging in to Facebook will not be the same anymore... Mark Zuckerberg you back-stabbing b*stard.

9.5/10
