I absolutely love this film. I've watched it twice and the movie still went by so quick. The quickfire dialogues are amazingly written (especially the first scene and some scenes of the deposition). I like how they add comedy bits to it as it really lighten the movie a lot. And I'm pretty sure years to come this movie will be used to teach film school students about character studies (Mark Zuckerberg's transformation from an anti hero to a tragic hero in the last 5 minutes is well written). Lastly, as I said before this movie will win a bunch of Oscars because it's the movie of our generation.

Has anyone tried to analyze this movie yet? After a few days of thinking, I think this movie is about the validity of information in today's generation. As six degrees of separation is becoming a very integral part of our society due to the Internet, information and news are spread between people easily but the truth often does not come together with the information. As an example *SPOILERS WARNING*,

I might be wrong but this is what I'd gathered from the movie. Any other analysis?

I've watched almost all the Oscar contenders except for The Fighter and The King's Speech and I still say this movie is still the best movie of 2010 and WILL WIN THE BEST PICTURE AWARD. Amazing performance by the entire ensemble, brilliantly directed, flawless script, beautifully shot it's a modern masterpiece.

Ricky Gervais said he saving the most offensive jokes for the Golden Globes...  biggrin.gif

Winning Golden Globes is somewhat "big deal" for the stars, though it seem to have lost its shine this year more than ever.

Still most of the nominations indicate who the Oscar contenders are and I'm sure the winners would be more than happy to win.

lolno. Golden Globes doesn't show any indication on who's going to win the Oscars. It rarely does that! And nobody watches GG for the awards anymore since it's a big joke (further proven with this year's field of Best Comedy). But I'll watch it because of Ricky.

The biggest threat right now is Black Swan and The King's Speech. But imo, The King's Speech popularity is dwindling down so it's pretty much 90% chance of TSN winning with the rest going to Black Swan.

The deal is that they get to go to a big party and eat and drink for free. In fact, the Golden Globes are notorious in that most of the stars who show up there get drunk.  laugh.gif
I seriously doubt The Tourist is gonna be Oscar-nominated for anything.  rolleyes.gif

You know what makes me pissed about The Tourist getting nominated in GG? Now their DVD will have a banner stating "Golden Globe nominees: Best Picture: Comedy and Best Actor". FFFFUUUU
