Ok, meet this saturday morning ya.

Don't you guys feel that the friction for leather grip is much more than normal pu grip which will cause your hand feel pain after some period of playing?

leather grip i feel is abit more stiffer/harder feeling which i like it after putting a overgrip on top of it.. kinda like the feeling edi.. it has that classiness with the leather grips.. lasts alot longer compared to normal grips

i dont feel pain or blisters playing with it.

:-D
Leather grips, I am a huge fan of leather grips, however I cannot play purely with a leather grip, I still need a overgrip, like Gamma Supreme or Yonex Supergrab.

The HUGE advantage why Leather grips are popular is that they retain the bevels of the racket, unlike any other grip when you wrap the grip around your racket, you lose the bevel feeling, the grip feels more 'rounder', you can still maintain the bevels, with a overgrip still.

PVC/Rubber grips I think are convenient for people who like the plush sensation and the tackiness of the grip. Some people claim that using these grips, there are no vibrations....I cannot comment on this as I have not tried this yet.

Use what you feel comfortable with :-D

Hmmm BEST leather grip nowadays is Head Calf Skin leather before in the late 80's and 90's the best leather grip is Fairway from England, the Head leather grips I don't think you can get, they are only for Touring Professionals, you may get lucky when you buy their used rackets, from ebay but be prepared to pay a bundle for the Head PT27A TGK series.....

Best overgrip is subjective lah bro, but I only use these 2 grips: Gamma Supreme Overgrip and Yonex Supergrab, these are the 2 that work best for me, Wilson and Tourna don't work for me, just experiment a bit, buy a set of each and try them each time you change your grip, make a mental note, and make a comparison then and there.
