if you curious then just giv it a try lah .. erybody's tension pref differs based on how you hit, how comfy u wanna feel, ur power level etc.
Anyways i also trial n error.. prev i tried low low tension .. went down until 30lbs.. but i think i dun really like the feel.. even on my apdgt i've tried a few tensions and strings... was at 52lbs, 48lbs, 45lbs but found not that nice in terms of the balance between power and control. So just now i went and did a hybrid of alu rough and OGsheep at 54lbs ... LUV IT.. finally now the racq ada OOommmuummmppphhh... previously at low tension i felt so hard to move the ball .. like overpowering the shots.. but now slightly higher tension .. can feel the power and solid contact...

so in d end.. dun worry .. just test test lah a few tensions and fine tune your racq..

yup, 17 courts.. i really like the courts there.. used to play there saturday morning cos lastime i had kaki playing there and helped to book.
The good thing is that there is 2 courts which are first come first serve basis so if u're lucky u can get those courts..

haha k3vin, ur serve motion reminds me of my dad's serve motion..we call it "kick serve" ...

Wah Kev, nice vid man! Heheeheh after hitting where do you goes for makan, Clementi bus interchange or Holland Village? (mahal there but very nice to go for cuci mata, dunno if still got a lot of nurses there or not)

Your groundies are pretty good, I dunno why you said your backhand was so so, it looks like you have the grip down and the motion down, only thing I recommend is finding a nice contact point for your backhand, it looks like you have multiple contact points, so that throws off your consistency, once you have established a nice contact point for your backhand ,and can tee off, then adjust accordingly for different height of the ball that comes to your backhand.
