just looking at lecturer tangga gaji recently. prof punya gaji basic rm6k and then the allowance also another rm6k

total rm12k

but to become a prof not easy kan.. :|

i've also heard utm is takin lot of phd student now, and anyone who graduated 3.6 and above can continue straight to phd. no need to take master

doesn't attract me though, i've enough of studying

i'm not sure if UTM have started the PhD straight intake from degree. there has been talks since several years ago, but i've yet to see it be implemented yet.

If not mistaken, master program now is free since UTM is a research uni. I recently chat with a graduate whois waiting for the application, he said no nid pay money...so, why not go for master first instead of jumping straight to phd?

actually, it's not free. it is fully funded by the university.

the difference is, if u pass, u dont have to pay anything. but if u fail...

Btw after Raya, I will continue my Master's in UTM.

Adalah... i know a few SEL students taking PHD(after degree) in UTM now... some initially planned to take masters, but lecturer encourages to jump to PHD... save time and money...

Guys, help me out. I need around 50 to 100 units of glass containers, for PSM purposes.

The shape should be like those drinking glasses, only no slopes on its sides (sides straight down).

Size of a container should be around 500mL.

Does anyone knows where to get them cheaply, like RM1 - RM2 per container? Or where I can have it customly made. Thanks.

haha free, u kidding right, then why UTM bursary bother about my payment recently. im student intake July this year, during the registration day briefing before, they mention about free for PHD, means they will sponsor the Phd student, not Master student. They encourage us as Master student to upgrade to Phd immediately if follow certain requirement. UTM will give allowance every month 2.5K
