It is advised, NOT TO BRING LAPTOP during the whole MTS (Minggu Transformasi Siswa)..
Cuz, you all will not be in your room almost whole day... Back to room only to bath and sleep...
Some that stay near the DSI (Dewan), will need to walk.. so imagine walking to the dewan with your laptop..
And also, speak of walking.. Bring your most comfortable shoe, and during the night, straight away go sleep.. You don have much time to rest..

I think u're referring to ur time. This time, attend 3 days, rest of the week, u wan ponteng ikut suka hati u ~~~

either way, all it takes is for u to go out of ur room for 5 minutes.

like i've always said before, u need to always be vigilant. theft occurs when there's opportunity. sometimes people follow ur behaviour to know what u do before they strike. but most of the time, it's just plain opportunity right there. the guy might just be passing by to/from a friend's room, or maybe the cleaners or people sending pamphlets.

do not present them with opportunities. use the chain lock. keep it in locked cupboard when not in use. heck, bring it with u if u can. jangan menunjuk2.

and remember, there's a chance that some idiot copied the key to ur room. maybe from the semester or years before.

u wanna bring ur laptop during registration process or u wanna bring it and keep it in ur room? i bring my laptop coz i cant do anything else without it. i would be crazy if i got no dekstop/laptop + tenet. the most important registration process only on 3rd, 6th and 8th, else u can be in ur room

mtm starts on sats, 1 week duration. when ur register on counter 8, they will give u panduan Atur cara Minggu Transformasi Mahasiswa 2010/2011. i believe we have tight schedule but the most important day only on 3rd, 6th, 7th/8th (see jadualpendaftarankursusjb.pdf). the other day u can do whatever u want to do

then wat should we wear during the orientation???sat for registration is formal...how abt for other days???also need long sleeve wit collar shirt and kain labuh???

Logically speaking, do i need to use a loud speaker to make my presence known by the whole blok?
When we wait for someone, we wait at the car compound where ppl gets on and off vehicles. Should i blindfold myself because some girls like to wear little in room and can't keep their curtains closed??
Sexual harassment doesn't just apply to ladies, same goes to males. With such bias only to the ladies, i would say that's sexual harassment to males.
Feminist movement is good to certain extent, as of not being extremist.
Sorry to say but putting up a Blog against any MPP/school authorities will just make a student threatened by AUKU, no thanks.
Nevertheless, I'm just stating the facts. Perhaps just a piece of advice to any newbies who will be in UTM for the coming years.

aiya hongwuh&azarimy, no point arguing about tht issue la. the ruling is here to stay, and there're fat fugly chicks who think men will do anything to get a peek at their ankles.

about the YTL and UTM project,i dont think it will start next semester..might take 10 years until it is initialized

again, what's the whole point of limiting the presence of male at/near the female block? u're at the female block, obviously u're about to offend the regulations on gender differentials. u cant claim sexual harassment if u're AT THE FEMALE BLOCK.

and btw, im not telling u to put up a blog. it's obviously sarcasm. sheesh. UTM students still have a long way to go.
