Guys, will the Milestone get Froyo update?...Really wanting to get this phone. Froyo update news is the only thing holding me back. Droid-Life & AndroidandMe blog sites are not that optimistic about it as well...damn!! This is the response i got from Moto...sad.. QUOTE Thanks for reaching out to Motorola. Just did a test with linpack with stock 550 speed...
first run = 4.9
2nd = 6.5
3rd = 7.0
4th = 7.0
now seems its getting between 6.9xx and 7.0xx

just update MS using OTA
the motorola update manager dat i downloader was in mandarin / japanese language...
less heat when using wifi
froyo is not coming...i hope dat is not true

please send it to me thanks.... so sad the newest update only allows you to tag 5 songs then the rest need to charge ad....

anyone here know any apps that can schedule a start up and shut down of the phone?
what i mean here is like i set a time for it and it will automatically start up the phone at the specific time and shut down at the specific time.
are there any apps like this in the market?

yesterday i had my hands on an iphone 3GS, sad to say that although 3GS has the same processor speed with MS, seems like the iphone is smoother if compare with our MS. nvm la, android still better
and 1 more thing is, iphone keyboard is so much better than any keyboard that i've used. I've used : HTC, shape writter, better keyboard. but still feels that the iphone keyboard is better. any1 have any other suggestion for keyboard that can at least on par with iphone keyboard?
ps: i still love MS. just hope to get wat is good in iphone and port it over to android to make us better.

i agree with you on that. really missed the smoothness in iphone when changing to milestone. but having to depend on a pc to transfer & download things (not to forget - doing backup) made my decision to move to android even tho i got a brand new 3gs that time.
have u tried using the droid x multi touch keyboard? its not as smooth as iphone's but it's a lot better than other android keyboards out there.

ya i also don like iphone coz it has too much limitation. android is good.
i've not yet try droic x keyboard. will go give it a try hope it can at least on par with iphone keyboard. thanks

You have to root your phone in order to use the keyboard because it will replace the stock one

then try swype. i have both multitouch and swype but now i mainly use swype becos its faster. for sms words, u have to type it first for swype to learn them, after that every words can be swyped. |
