Shouldn't be a problem since ur UK sbf is working in here. I'm using 2.34 on a HK set. And I can say that the alarm bugs are gone and my random restarts have also disappeared biggrin.gif
*
Then i should just flash my ms to the 2.34 hk sbf.
Those random restarts and alarm bugs are so irritating.

installed the multi-touch keyboard. now i can type as fast as typing in iphone.

the multi-touch keyboard is a system app, i think it will be the stock keyboard in all future moto phones. not sure if it will install in non-rooted phones. in my case, i have the stock moto keyboard and the app wont install. after i removed the stock keyboard then only it can install.
*
How to install the stock keyboard?

Anyone here using SEA 02.36 sbf? Do you have the speech to text button in your soft keyboard and the search widget?

Its available for Milestone as well.

For some AP sets, especially from ES (Europe), you have to download and flash it yourself.  smile.gif
*
ya, it is available for Milestone.

i tried it a couple of times when using UK sbf but now UK still using 02.31, which is with all the bugs.

Is SEA 02.36 sbf got the speech to text function too?

Guys to download files from android market to SD card i need to root my milestone?
*
You can either root your MS or wait for the 2.2 froyo update.

If you can't wait any more longer than just go ahead and root you MS and do the apps2SD.

You should know that rooting your phone mean you are going to void your warranty.

And do a nandroid backup before you start rooting your phone.

Hey people!

How do I get my MS to vibrate when it is on silent mode when I receive calls and SMS?

I still can't download applications from the Market using Wifi and I don't have any data plan.  icon_question.gif
Its so frustrating that I can't download applications from the Market!!  cry.gif
*
Just push the volume rocker, you can select it to be total silent or in vibrate mode.

I think it's more of an Android thing rather than a Motorola thing.

Well, it doesn't matter whether is an Android thing or motorola thing, these 2 make a perfect couple.

Who say we need iPhone?? Android is the real king. tongue.gif

Just wondering, can this Milestone be upgraded to Android V2.2?
*
This is kinda like the million dollars question now.

Some speculations saying that it will receive the 2.2 Froyo update, some say no.

But IMO, the Droid is receiving the update in next month or so, hence i think MS will also get the 2.2 update.

Android 2.2 (Froyo) for Milestone is OUT-ish.

Anyone dare to try?

Added on July 25, 2010, 3:29 pm Arrow  [ROM] MotoFrenzy (Froyo 2.2 for milestone)

I have made a quick adaption of the Froyo FRF91 for our milestone. and the results are quite good. Linpack scores are not much different, but Quadrant scores are almost triple normal scores.

Image is for OpenRecovery (ADBRecovery) and includes system, data, cache partitions only. (only tested on top of 2.36)

Download MotoFrenzy v0.1(Froyo FRF91)

V0.1 Note this is based on original Motorola kernel for AndroidOS 2.1,
so features required for OS 2.2 with new kernel is not available.

This is work in progress, so bugs might be there...

Froyo is a ENGLISH release only for now..

WORKING
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- Radio (GSM,GPRS,HSPA)
- Wifi
- SDCard detection
- USB / ABD (USB sdcard, Only if connected from power-on)
- AC Charging (milestone specific option)
- 3D games / full display support
- Video playback (Youtube etc..)
- Wipe
- G-sensor

STILL NOT WORKING
- Camera / Video Recorder
- USB mount of SDcard (if not connected at bootup)

Includes overclocking module, see readme in zip for more details.
