expert advice needed. try to downgrade to 1.6. my bin4ry flash stuck at this:
cmd windows show this: 
after releasing the back button, my x8 show the charging icon. any reccomendation? |

jz realised, jz flash to 1.6 first right away. and jz do the steps. btw, there's already a script 'install.sh' to do all the coding, used it and now im rooted

Its not so hard actually, I juz did mine rooted n jit yesterday..
Now juz nid to buy hi class microsd b4 I can app2sd it :-) Added on December 26, 2010, 10:06 pmok sumthing new happen to me.. when my phone is on heavy load, it will restart it self.. doesnt happen b4 tho.. This post has been edited by Ultima: Dec 26 2010, 10:06 PM |

3rd day of x8 experience:
1. 2.1 root! but not yet jit. need to study how. 2. roadsync is gone. thanks to titanium backup! 3. app2sd how to use? always ask me to fix my sd card. need to format? 4. why music player always appear in running app? 5. how to change x8 blue/balck theme? thanks to those who helps! sos tiram illustrated rooting procedure is a great guide. since we live in community, hope you don't mind my comment: - need to add to pre-requisite: download & install SEUS (for the driver) - please include superoneclick 1.6 rooting tools great if we can have x8 thread |

For those who r using custom, does ur 3g feels a bit slow? No problem on wifi but I feel mine slow whn using data plan..

Hmm... guys. Currently X8 i had updated to 2.1 during the end of November. So there is no root option for it? Or i should revert it back to 1.6? But not sure how

if urs oledi updated to 2.1, thrs no other choice but to revert to 1.6, root it, n do the necessary steps to get 2.1 root..
