The farm-breeders usually wants to minimize a shock, like bathing the baby-GPs under 2 months old.
More shock if they use "blow-dryer" to dry the GPs... die faster LoL.

If the baby play-pen (with mommy) is well designed, and soft flooring (messed holed floors) is used, the pee-poo should be within hygiene standards.
Even after 2 months, the babies should smell like just born, the baby smell, very clean, and often licked cleaned by the parents (papapig introduced and remove within supervision time).

If you got them too young (irresponsible breeder sellers... ), you can wipe clean their feet with warm cotton makeup remover pads. Or get a helper to dip their small legs in warm water to clean (including the dirt under the nails).
To nib the nails, you can wait until the 3rd month onwards for the first 1mm cut, watch where the pink line is, where the blood vessels ends... erm... don't cut off their fingers..... a lot of freshmeat is attached to the nail.

Most importantly how the breeder segregate them, is it scientific, systematic, lineage tree, etc. Are there mites, bacteria, or other diseases? Like dogs, the first 2 months baby GPs are weak while building up their immune system. Some farms can have Zerg-Infestation so as that ALL their incubation chambers are contaminated; Your seeing the vet bill maybe more expensive than you GP price... furthermore, your entire house also gets the pandemic, all pet family die together of epidemic infectious diseases...

That statement is false as they won't individually have qualified personnels and take the risk to bath them if they are mass breeding general piggies.
False that you can compare to many of the sellers even in M'sia, their baby piggies and photos are clean, adorable, all taken (shot) anytime from any of the weeks 1 - 8 - 12.
However, it is a simple thing to solve and clean.

Perhaps a reference to "How to pick a GP, What to look for from their supplier, What's their stand on Responsible Breeder / Etiquette, etc." can be the questions to start asking from.

What bedding are you using? If used bedding that absorb pee wonderfully, it shouldn't stain as much.

Recently I changed to Woody Pellet and loving it.

hey guys i'd like to ask beside cabbage and apple, what other 'snacks' or treats does GP like? yesterday I bought cabbage and apple for my GPs thinking they could enjoy some other treats rather than the usual pellets/hay but they seem to like it at all.. din even take a bite..

Hay cake can considered as snacks for them.. or you might try baby tomato.. they like it.. but do not give them too much.. once in a week ok i think

The vegies i give to my gp are salad and cucumber. My gp make different sound for each vegi. wit 3 times for salad and wit 4x for cucumber.

lettuce, baby tomata, carrot, pepper, celery, pandan leave, daun ubi, kangkung, bayam, kiwi, melon, strawberry..etc.. refer front page..

dont feed too much cucumber.. later berak cair.. no nutrient de.. only for water .. i only feed when the weather is hot or they r not drinking much water...

i buy from another breeder also have stains at bottom already,just curious wanna know does it can be eliminate or not lah....maybe this weekend wanna bath them and see does it improve or not the stains.

ermm...currently i'm using chipsi woods shaving,firstly also i tot wanna get Woddy Pellet at P**S**** there just scare not suits for them but since u already use it maybe wanna get a bag from there also hehe....
