where you found 'em? Hiding in corners, or under furnitures?

Was wondering if you used their favorite food bowl or food preparation sound, or your feeding whistle / sound, would they recognize it yet, and come out from hiding?

Interested to know!

my fatty was hiding inside nearest box.huhu.didnt notify until i wanna sleep,n i start hearing scratch sound
so i put some food .n then i has found it when he start smelling dat food.huhu.

my fatty alwiz shock with me n sometime look scared.huhu.soo hard to feed him by my hand.juz some time only.
when i giv him his fav food,he didnt do anything n juz bcome like a barbie,no action

help me...any tips please

Try not to give him hideout. Some of the forumers including me here don't give hideout because we thinks that hideout will make the gp always depend on it. So we only use the hideout during playtime for them to popcorn. U just got the gp not more than a week, so patience is a must. Even i bought my gp for 2 months already, she also will shake abit when i go near the cage. About hand feed, if he don't wan to come near and eat, u can hug him awhile, den give him a bit snack using ur hand. my oldest gp (about 1 year old) only started not look scare after a few months with us.... will automatic come near to my hand to see if there were vege on the hand.

now my GP two weeks ed..at 1st week they very afraid...now onli show some interest on me...when i come near the cages they squek ask for alfafa hay...and when wan to holding still run but not much...

yeah its safe as long as i keep the room door close lor...XD I put a use 'tikar' that I gulung2 so the can happily bounce, popcorning and play hide n seek with. I also put some obstacle like some used cartons and the big blue dome so they can play with. Usually they will run about and play around. then will wheek very loudly if they hear me coming or open the door, asking for food LOL...

1 problem is have to sweep their poo everyday...its everywhere in that room O.o;....I tried to toilet train them but they are so degil la...

i love to follow suit.. Bt my pig will not jus poo but pee and marking teritory especially d male.. Poo is not a problem but pee .. Headache...inside d cage know where to do it..but outside d cage.. Haiz..

how old is the gps? If they were together since they were babies, they possibly will not fight.

from my experience with teddy and timmy.. wont fight at 1st.. if never expose to female scent b4.. but once exposed. fight for sure.. and the only way to settle the fight is to put a female into their life.. but adding another pig mean adding another space.. wat i do is i join my small DIY cage with the rabbit cage and with enough food, water and space.. no reason to fight..

so u just put 2 males and 1 female in a same cage right? So if u don't wanna breed them, better don't get another female to seduce them.

yes.. planing to breed them.. n i think galgal is pregnant.. but not very sure yet.. staying together does seduce them, as they r more seduce by the gal nex door.. which amaze me as well..

Its always a bad idea to put 2 or more males together if theres females around. Both will eventually fight for mating rights and so on. However, 1 male with multiple females should be okay. Only the consequences of that would be too many pregnant GPs and litters later on.

The best should be ONE neutered male with several females.

Even both males raised from babies will fight once forbidden fruits are introduced (sexy gurlfren)...

Fights can be bloody, scarring, fatal. The weaker one will be deprived of sleeping spot, food, water, and will eventually die.

Simply the scent, sound, and especially the teeth chattering will be seconds away from a fight... that scent experience will always be remembered, no such thing as 'truce' or 'rights to parley', especially when both thinks they are the alpha dominant one, forever will become enemies and continue fighting.

Only 1 alpha male allowed in the pact, inborn, natural.
