Higher end edifier speaker will use MDF wood on all speakers. Budget one only on subwoofer, satelite uses compressed wood grain.

QUOTE(Edifier @ Aug 22 2010, 09:36 PM) Seems like their wood speakers are all on MDF ones after searching around.... Found that a lot of the edifier speaker circuits were similar, only difference on volume controlling function and the op-amp, ST4558C and NE5532. ST4558C sounds like distorted bass and treble, NE5532 however sound not bad, just felt like lack of something. This post has been edited by Cosef: Aug 23 2010, 02:13 AM |

QUOTE(pang0119 @ Aug 23 2010, 03:12 AM) My ideas:- Place your satellite speaker that able to reach your ear level. - Use mono sound and position your satellite to get center position of the sound. - Place your woofer in between your 2 satellite speaker below your table, face in front. Then enjoy your music This post has been edited by Cosef: Aug 23 2010, 03:46 AM |

Agree, but sometimes if there are footrest table then need to change the table, quite headache for some people. Put on table between 2 satellites actually sound much clearer but monitor took away the place and the table will vibrate, need feet to reduce it.

After burned in, Edifier sounds much more detailed than Altec Lansing MX5021 IMO. MX5021 just movie enhancement type

Redraw the pin out diagram, for m3300 modding use
![]() so the input ground is yellow colour wire, output ground is the shield. But i saw both ground are linked together in the volume control circuit board. |
