Added on August 4, 2010, 12:28 amChelsea - Kakuta Wins the Golden Ball!

After having such a wretched time last season, courtesy of the hullabaloo that surrounded the transfer embargo served on us relating to his transfer from Lens, it`s great to see that Gael Kakauta is finally getting some attention for all the right reasons.

The French youngster, who was part of the victorious France U19 side that won the European Championship recently, has added another award to his personal collection by being voted the player of the tournament.

A previous winner of the award is Fernando Torres so this could mean big things in the future to come for Gael especially with the talent he has.

On the back of his U19 international success, Gael has now joined up with the main squad in Germany and could be looking to get some minutes in Hamburg.

Here's to King Kakuta!

what most important is ..ramires MUST suit BPL playing style..even though he have individual skills....HE NEED TO ADAPT in 1st season...then only we can analyze him properly...till then fingers crossed + some hopes. unsure.gif

As what I see him through my eye, I believe he can suit BPL style very fast. He is strong enough I believe.
If he join, this is my first eleven.

Anelka---------------------------Malouda-
---------------Drogba-------------------

Most likely is 4-3-3. Lampard and Ramires position can be switch any time.

left middle belongs to lampard, is its where lampard should stay if you want an extra 20 goals from fantastic frank. the middle belongs to essien where he can defend and attack. the only vacant spot for ramires is the right midfield and he has to share it with benny. whoever performs will get the spot, we have 4 competitions, there is more than enough games for the both of them. malouda will stay on the left forward, drogba in the middle and anelka on the right. i dont think its right to spoil their chemistry as they've done so well last season with 3 of them up front, kalou will have to wait and prove himself in the carling and fa cup games. he has to be patient, he should know that anelka, drogba and malouda are not young anymore, they wouldnt last very long, and kalou still not consistent enough for us, swallow the truth.

Kalou's performance not really impress me yet because of his consistency.
He is not consistence, if he play, this:
--------------Cech----------------
Iva-------Alex--------Terry-----A.Cole
--------------Essien--------------------
---Ramires------------Lampard------
Kalou---------------------------Malouda-
---------------Drogba-------------------

Kalou switch with Anelka is the best move for me.

kalou played during anelka injury if not mistaken
for me kalou will fill in drogba's shoe..in this year or next comin years....the thing he doest not prove his worth due to lack of consistent of week-in/out matches for him... flex.gif

i wonder how is riccy doing this season. if is definitely good but also prone to mistakes that cost us a few games last season. i would prefer to deploy alex alongside terry but i know if riccy is fit, ancelotti will play riccy because of seniority. for me, iva should definitely play alongside terry, his natural position. however good iva is on the RB position, he will always be second to bosingwa for his lack of attacking skills. but keeping a tight defense on the right flank is no issue for me.

this season, trio essien-mikel-lampard would be the first choice for me in midfield ...
