Chelsea -The Details on Ramires and Neymar
Rumours have been circulating that a bid has gone in for Neymar, where as a deal has been agreed for Ramires.

Well, I wasn't buying it so I decided to do some serious digging. Here's what I found.

It is wide spread across the English papers that a deal has been confirmed for Ramires at £20 million with a £50k salary on a 4 year contract and should be completed within the next few days. Portuguese paper I'Bola also reports that a deal is near completion, with them reporting the deal to be worth 20 million Euros instead of pounds. My personal sources indicate that the Portuguese paper is closer to the mark suggesting that the fee is in the £17million region.

A fellow Vital Chelsea member also told me that he had heard of the figures being in the £17million region and even went on to say that the wages are reported to be £55k a week.

Now, there's no need for you to buy into all of this because a clearer picture will only emerge in the next few days but the signs look good.

Here's why: After the World Cup when asked about Interests in Ramires, his agent Luis Carlini said:

'Chelsea and Bayern have spoken to Benfica but I can't say more.'

Ramires himself is also interested in a move saying:

'I don't know the names of the clubs that are after me, but it would be a dream for me to play for a big club such as Barcelona, Real Madrid or Chelsea.'

Meanwhile, another Brazilian is also strongly linked with a move to the Blues.

As everyone already knows Santos FC confirmed on their official website that they had received a bid in the region of 20million Euros for Neymar from Chelsea and Rejected it:

'Santos FC states that, in the in the late morning of Tuesday (20), we received an official offer from Chelsea FC of England for the economic rights of striker Neymar.'

a statement on the club's official website read.

The father of Neymar was not pleased at the news saying:

'Santos just said 'no' before even talking with us.'

he said to Lancenet.

'Why would they do that? They must listen to Neymar to know what he has to say about it.'

His agent had some interesting developments of his own:

'If he says he wants to leave, we'll have to negotiate with Santos and the investment group (who own 40 per cent of Neymar's rights) and we will try to talk to Chelsea about the price.'

Having already previously indicated that he could make a deal happen he also went on to interestingly add:

'But what tips the scales will be the boy himself. He is not ready to go to Europe - no boy of his age is - but he already knows what he wants.'

So this would mean that Neymar has his mind made up. It seems as if the ball is definitely in the kid's court. It will be interesting how the two stories develop.
