unless torres is coming for the cheap. i dont see the need to get torres. first of all, yes he is a good player, one of the best too, but then his current form is disappointing and if we are to acquire him for a high price, i'd rather go for some other players.

QUOTE(krk24 @ Sep 27 2010, 01:56 PM) Well if TORRES come with reasonable price i will welcome him with open arm. AGUERO cost 40m i will rather pay TORRES that kind of money. Coz one is world class BPL proven striker and one is just promising player with an unknown future. If we develop youth i would rather give our academy youngster a chance. But chances of him coming are low, but i like him to play for us not just because of his ability but his loyalty too. He have been courted by many club at AM but he never leave until when the club need his transfer fund. Even now at LIVERPOOL current status he also opt to stay If CHELSEA opt to spend big money i will prefer buy a starting eleven player, for backup we can always nurture from our academy. well unfortunately, no one will come to SB with reasonable price..especially player like Torres..City will surely snub him first in case Liverpool desperately need money and sell him..
Drogba maybe had another season to perform at highest level..Anelka maybe two.. |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Sep 26 2010, 09:41 PM)
4 Questions 1 - Should Zhirkov start against Marseille ahead of Malouda? Yes. shake things up a bit, won't do any harm and louda will be fired up. yuri deserves to show what he can do, at his favourite LW spot. depending on how well he does, he might just start the arsenal game. 2 - Should Josh start against Marseille ahead of Ramires? its debatable if he's ready or not, but one half sounds fair. when u think about it, city was a high pressure game where carlo was practically telling him "we're trailing 1-0. go out there, try and do something about it." he didn't disappoint. 3 - Should Bosingwa given minutes against Marseille? One half as well, then bring in iva for the second. I want the serbian killer ready for arsenal, where he should start ahead of the boss mainly due to his imposing physique. we need him threatening on those setpieces. 4 - Should we buy Neymar?? many are questioning the brazilian's recent outburst, but surely we don't know the exact reasons behind it. if torres did something similar, would we be opposing the spaniard's arrival too? for all we know he's regretting his decision to stay at santos, after being pressured by various parties. for a good price and coupled with carlo's experience with the likes of kaka/pato/ronaldinho, i don't see why not. the gaffer will set him straight. *Referring to studgy’s introduction again, from my point of view our constant (and particularly SLOW) barraging through the middle wasn’t working against city’s defensive wall. Pacey players will cause any team trouble and u could see yuri and studgy’s direct running was making a difference, especially the former’s. I understand the likelihood of didier doing something spectacular, but against city it just wasn’t happening for him. The chances of studge/yuri putting in a killer cross or going on a mazy dribble was just higher imho. fresh legs, fresh impetus. oh and before i forget, owen coyle helped to take away the pain of that defeat quite significantly |

Drogba have two years contract...we need to prepare life after him.. I dont think we will let him leave on free transfer..If that is the case than by the end of this season if the right bid come at the right price..Drogba may leave us and seal his status as club's legend..for a season maybe we wont feel it yet..cuz Anelka might be around...after that life gonna be hard for us..we really need to prepare...Sturridge already in the line for Anelka..but Drogba is just special..personal favorite will be Aguero..Lukaku next in the line..others..hmm not so sure now...

QUOTE When I signed a new contract at Chelsea, I always said I wanted to finish my career here. But I am well placed to say that anything can happen. "When I was at Marseille I said I would finish my career there but, one week later, everything changed. "I hope I don't miss the return match as the Velodrome has an exceptional atmosphere." Soccernet this is something new from CA, he never say something like this to referee before. he is mad! can feel it QUOTE In what was a physical game, sometimes when a player suffers three fouls at the same time the referee has to whistle, but he couldn't because I think he left the whistle at home. cfc |

QUOTE(eeki @ Sep 27 2010, 06:27 PM) this is something new from CA, he never say something like this to referee before. he is mad! can feel it cfc but the referee is kinda one sided that night.. he clearly made several decision that favor Man city especially during 1st half of the game.. he become fair only after Man City has a lead.. its not just me who feel like that.. several others who watching with me also have same opinion about his refereeing.. |

Its okla, that's football. Sometime the ref is on our side, sometime he's not. Normal in football, I would say.

I don't know about the biasness of referee but I do see him misjudge on our players. Asides from the Drogs and Boyata incident, like Terry on Tevez. Clearly he moved backwards to make referee to call a fail because he knows that he can't jump as high as Terry.

Torres is one my of favorite player.I don't mind his current form, I don't mind if his price tag is 40m which is same with kun.
But, he's an injury prone. If he is not an injury prone, and with 40m, definitely a MUST BUY. Nevermind, we have bunch of quality strikers! |

Screw the past! Let's concentrate on the future. Marseille and we're at home. Tomorrow is the game and we need to let the defeats begone.
