hmm come to think about it, nico and kalou were pretty quiet vs west ham. apart from that superb 'backheel' goal from kalou of course.

and once the party starts, nico and solo usually gets involved. i would prefer if the youngsters get more minutes once we're two up. hell, just throw kakuta in from the start. i dont think we should hold them back anymore. alot of top teams are throwing in their youngsters because they believe in them. we should with ours too. kakuta is one of the best young players in france, he can start. Drogba got 2 yellows in the home match against Internazionale,I think he's suspended for 2 or 3 games.

drogba unavailable is it? but it's a good chance for zhirkov to show his abilities tonight. borini and kakuta should play some part in this match...

i dont think we should fix whats not broken. if we're more comfortable with the 433, i dont see any need to switch to the diamond formation again. to be honest it never really worked anyways. 433 with the french trident of flomo, nico and gael up front. WEEEE!

yuri and studge starting wooootttt! a surprise omission of kalou it must be said. he could've been on the right wing with studge upfront. no rest for nico i guess. but after seeing what happened to utd with their reshuffled squad this morning, maybe retaining most of our experience for this clash isn't such a bad idea

maybe once we've secured qualification, carlo will rotate the squad even more. whats better is that tomorrow is a holiday. we can all watch chelsea without worrying about how to sleep at work tomorrow
although i would prefer paulo to play and iva to partner alex while terry gets a rest, but i guess carlo wants to use paulo in the blackpool game. i wonder who will play center forward. anelka? but he is so used to playing behind the striker. so is studgy and flomo. kalou on the other hand likes to take drogba's role despite his small size. i think that if we can hold possession up front, we can score goals. |
