yea.. planning too.. wait i get my new phone 1st then send it for warranty la.. atm no phone use as spare.. many people in dell forum also complaints like i do.. some sent back and got a new unit but same thing happens also.

i tried both batches already and seems like the 2nd batch unit seems ok.. the battery cover is tighter at least.. and a few days of usage never have any symptoms of switched off and restarts.

Only apply to 1st batch phone which is my 1st streak. My 2nd set Streak seems to be fine which is 2nd batch...

Streak overall is ok.. u can see now 10 user of streak im the only 1 having problems.. tat like 10% problem only..

Keep shut down when put in pocket, restarts very frequent when i press the back battery door too hard. Sometimes didnt touch it also will auto restart.. duno y.. my 2nd unit no such problem but someone offer me 3k so i just sold it off.. lol..

Don't be too nervous when updating/upgrading it.. Just read the forum over, then people will guide you through.

For now, you just need to install the Froyo version 1.1.1 1st. then you can instal the version 1.2..

but must me on O2 1.6 Build4399 to upgrade to this ROM right? Direct fastboot from At&t 1.6 (built6601) to this FROYO also can?

i think shop still don't sell Streak yet.. mostly all wait for official release coz they dont wanna waste their time on the warranty claim later..
