it doesnt wipe the device but kinda screwed up the market again ..... Saw 200+ on my search but only a few is displayed

After reading all the users comments on 1.2 froyo, I will skip this update. Hope steve will resolve the apk install n market issues over the next few days. Presently I have no complains about 1.1.1 yet

just received Dell streak's car dock and form fit case from Irwan... well i really recommend someone who wanna buy streak to get from him.

anyway the form fit case is a nice alternative to the ottercase that i already have. thin design, and easy in the pocket compared to ottercase. before this i rarely use the ottercase when i'm wearing jeans due to it's thick size, but now i know at least 1 side of the phone is protected 24/7~

too bad no ready stock.. u need to place an order. maybe if there are many streak users Irwan can have some ready stock for phone and accessories, like he did with Nexus One (battery, car dock, table dock)..

now if i'm not mistaken the only accessory he has in hands is Streak's usb cable..

.for my case, the case is rm80.. while the car dock is rm180. the car dock is a lil bit at expensive side due to it's big sized box thus add to the shipping cost.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but u r got yourself an official unlock Streak rite , build 6267 and u flash it to 3883 which is an O2 rom , also running on 1.6 ...... y dont just go 2.1 straight ?

Upgrading from O2 2.1 (build 8105) to Stephen Hyde's 2.2
download Stephen Hyde's 2.2 update zip from here.

1Rename update-new.zip to update.zip and copy it to the root of your SD Card.
2Download recovery.alt.zip from here.
3Move the recovery image into the same folder as the fastboot.exe.
4Put your Streak into fastboot mode.
5Open up command line type: fastboot -i 0x413c flash recovery recovery.alt.img

BRO.....CAN SOME HELP ME....JUST REALLY CANT UNDERSTAND STEP NO 3 AND 4.....HUHU VERY NOOB HERE......JANGAN MARAH AAAA

1. u have to download fastboot.exe and put the folder, let say in C:\fastboot

2. put the recovery image in that folder

3. Power down your streak and boot into fastboot by pressing and hold both power button and camera button until you get to a white screen, then tap on the fastboot text in top right corner.

4. Connect your streak to pc - for the first time, your pc will have to install new hardware bla bla.. wait for a while, if everything goes well, the text on streak should change to FASTBOOT_MODE.

or if the driver installation is failed,

while your streak is still connected, open your device manager in your pc, go to the failed / error android device, right click and choose update. browse for files, and look for android adb devices. sthing like that

press okey and ur streak will show FASTBOOT_MODE.

5. open Command prompt in your pc, go to the c:\fastboot (or other location of your fastboot folder) and type the following command : fastboot -i 0x413c flash recovery recovery.alt.img

(be aware of ur fastboot name. whether it is fastboot-windows.exe or fastboot.exe)

6. when everything is done, reboot ur streak by typing: fastboot -i 0x413c reboot
