well, it's gorilla glass after all so it shouldn't have no problem by pressing too hard. I was just wondering that SP might have do the trick....

perhaps you can try restarting the phone or even RESET the phone if necessary...

Well.. its all fixed now... dismantle the whole phone.. guess the warranty is voided if Dell knew.. XD..

The Dell Streak inside really very shocking. The mainboard and such.. you would never expect Dell to pull off something like this.

I did realize when you poke the screen with too much pressure your phone will restart, this is due to the screen is just right on top of everything in your phone. Too muich pressure the phone cant withstand it then poof, restart. Most of the mainboard parts are hidden at the camera and the speaker section.

The case/housing itself is thin enough to get cracked if you pulled or applied too much pressure when dismantling it.

I didnt manage to take any pic coz really wanna fix my touchscreen problem..

yes, i also used universal androot to root my streak. just if the 1st try doesnt work, simply run it again and it will work

I know this is not a lost and found forum. But I hope to find my husband's phone.

My husband was traveling Penang Maylasia Georgetown area when he lost his Dell Streak. He may have sat it down at the night marker KL, or in taxi 2055 on his way to his Traders Hotel in Georgetown.

It's so sad to lose this phone to him! I posted in lost and found craigslist for it also.

Please send me email if anyone has found a black Dell Streak since September 19th. He is back in America now. I really hope to find his phone. We have pictures that are dear to us on it. My husband is a Dell employee. He was traveling on business for Dell when he lost it. If the finder brings it to Dell they can verify the owner.
