Must sell off the old body first, then only can have a new one biggrin.gif

Thanks. blush.gif
Sell it cheap cheap, surely somebody will adopt it back. laugh.gif
I was so in love with 40D last year but discontinued and 50D was a bit out of budget... Finally settled down with 550D...
Look at his [WTS] threads on the signature, clearly shows "I'm going FF!"
40D la... EF-S lens la. whistling.gif tongue.gif

Haha my prices are open for negotiation wink.gif

Ah I think you made the right choice, the 550D is a really nice camera. I even had the thought of selling my 40D and get the 550D laugh.gif

Oh btw, there's a dude selling the Tamron 17-50 VC for RM1500 second hand @ garage sales.

yeah got it 2nd hand cuz IMO third party brands are best bought 2nd hand since the depreciation value is high if you get brand new.

if you come across a good condition 2nd hand lens, why not?  biggrin.gif
*
You're using it on a 1D right? Does it vignette? Since the Siggy 30 1.4 is designed for crop bodies laugh.gif

QUOTE(niwooe @ Jun 26 2010, 01:54 AM)
it does vignette but I can live with it, until I can afford the L la smile.gif however though, it seems to be my main lens and I use it extensively compared to my 135L, it's that good wink.gif
Unless you wanna get 2nd hand and save a few more hundred smile.gif

btw someone's selling grey set RM1450 in PM.com smile.gif
*
How bad is the vignetting? Mind to share some samples? biggrin.gif

I believe I've posted these pictures somewhere in lowyat before (or maybe not) but here are some samples of the vignetting on a 1.3x crop body from the Sigma 30mm

there was no lens correction on both photos, vignette shown as it is. I always shoot wide open so I believe that it's never an issue for my although it's an EF-S lens wink.gif

cheers!

Thanks! Vignetting is quite mild, can be post-processed off if wanted to laugh.gif

Phew, just reached home after a full day outing in Malacca town. I must conclude something here, DSLR is really the new PnS.... Almost every single soul that I saw on the street, has one DSLR on their neck... laugh.gif

We must carry  Hasselblad soon.  laugh.gif

Medium format is the new Full Frame. thumbup.gif

Though I wouldn't mind walking around with a Leica M9 + 50mm Summilux. Discrete and low profile. Too bad that combo costs about RM30-40k whistling.gif

Just played with my friend's new 550D for the whole night and I love it!

ISO6400 looks really good, Auto ISO is a Godsent, 1080p 24FPS is amazing. Oh, the new 1mil 3:2 format LCD screen is awesome too.

I might just buy that for my 2nd body. laugh.gif

Haha. That is the compliment shot, though didn't wanna attach it in since this series is more of vintage feel. laugh.gif
My shots are bad hence need this kind of toning effect to make them look better. tongue.gif

Nice shots, sometimes being focal length limited makes your shots more unique biggrin.gif

Oh no. The RC-5 doesn't work with the 40D. Only EOS 5D, EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 300D, EOS 350D, EOS 400D and EOS 500D. sad.gif

It's not? Then which is it? But anyway the XXD series don't have IR trigger if I'm not mistaken. Only the Rebel series and 7D/5D/5D2 sweat.gif

QUOTE(Daymon @ Jun 30 2010, 03:00 PM)
why is it always not enough brightness in my photo? i always need to switch my ISO to 1600 or higher when shooting indoor. is it normal? im using eos 550d. thx in advance.
*
Most of the time, indoors = low light. Unless your indoors has a lot of windows for light to enter in la laugh.gif

Unless you have fast lenses, higher ISO or using a flash will help. smile.gif
