hey guys, i'm in need of a little help..

Is the 'Gold watch' that supposingly increases time to ease scoring 5 stars really necessary in completing the trophy where u kill the last boss ?

I have maxed all my crystarium stats and maxed out lightning and fang's weapons while vanille has a semi-upgraded nirvana ..

Will these be enough to score a 5 star rating or should i get the gold watch first?

For the last boss Gold Watch is not needed at all.
I didn't even max out my crystarium stats and used only Tier 1 weapons and I still got 5 stars. So I don't think it will be needed. Just keep attacking him to stagger him and beat down him in just 1 stagger.

decided to try beating Long Gui.

Won at first try. DAMN HAPPY. haha.

Now gonna go farm Dark Matter and then get Superstar. I hope i remember to collect the fire charm in Gran Pulse. Seems to be missing in my list.

Got my Superstar trophy after equipping the gold watch. Before that i got 4 stars..

Roughly how long u guys took to complete the treasure hunter trophy? Takes me 20 minutes to finish a round of farming .. killing adamanchelids , adamantortoises and adamantoises.. If im lucky i get 3 plat ingots per round . Usually i only get 1 though , with some gold dusts..

I read somewhere stating that Long Gui's will spawn when missions 30-51 are completed ( which i completed ) , but still , No sight of long gui's at the field..

Just dropping in to share my farming tactics. I am currently in edenhall farming that lone adamantoise near a save point. Its the one that fell through the glass the first time you were there( shown via in game CG). I think this is a better way to get the ingots because i can kill one with my team in under 1 min and a half. If i get an ingot,i jsut walk to the save point,save my game and restart my game. If i dont get one,i just restart it. Equipped with the catalogs of course,per hour i can farm about 15 to 25 ingots. (Depending on my luck naturally).

Also, dont farm adamanchelids because they only drop traps and golddust. Only adamantoises drop ingots.

For long gui, you have to complete the ring of cieth stones located in gran pulse. Once you finish them, all the adamanchelids and adamantoises will become long gui and shan long guis. You can distinguish them by a bluish tint on their bodies. Beware though,shao lung gui and long guis cast quake and ultima AT THE BEGINNIG of the battle.

Be warned though that gran pulse will only have 1 wandering adamantoise after you beat the ring of cieth stones. Which is why im now in edenhall farming. Sicen the adamantoise in gran pulse in too far from a save point.

My ff13 is chi+eng ver?but i hv try SO MANY　ＴＩＭＥ also cant see chinese word in game,someone mind to tell me my ff 13 is jap or chi+eng ver?Thank very much,below is the PIC

Hmm...It seems ur FFXIII copies is Jap version not Eng+Chi version...

Em.but the seller Definite said the game is Chi+eng version....

FFXIII Eng+Chi version cover should be like this...

The one that u have is from the PS3 FFXIII edition...

The treasure hunter trophy took me a while to accomplish.. See until my eyes pop out. Upgrade weapons and accessories also time consuming.. Lucky my bank just ngam ngam enough.. left 1mil ++ only..
Now just left l'Cie Paragon Trophy. One last 1st before platinum.. Calculated already.. another 20 missions to complete 5 stars with gold watch
Quite satisfied killing long gui n shao long gui. Quite a few times got them like 5% hp n my whole party died.. very frustrating..

Does anybody know where to get this game in KL? I'm trying to find it at many sony stores and game shops, but out of stock.

I've tried ur method just now, 2m30s average time for killing it, mind sharing how u managed to get urs 1m30s?

I've only tried it for half an hour though, will do it again later on. Got 3 plat ingots in half hour with collector catalog equipped .. Any tips on increasing the drops? if i could get 15-25 plat ingots in an hour.. it'll be amazing

i don't know but... when i equip speed sash+energy sash+ collector catalog+gold watch on lightning(omega weapon wif quick stagger ability), plat ingot drop frequently, but when i dismissed one of the acc, the drop rate is like go to nothing. although i equip energy sash+speed sash on hope
