but noel voice sound like hope.. lol.. maybe its just me... but have to agree the sparks starts right after we seen the trailer... XD

action button is a welcome... love those combos... but remind me of lost odyssey... abit..

Lightning is not dead. She can't be dead yet, Hope is still waiting for her return.
Speaking of Hope, he must appear in this game. He is the most-fleshed out character in FFXIII beside Lightning.

ah... i miss the old crew.... which is weird seeing that they are not the most colourful combi when compared to others... but i still like them crew gether...

nah.. i think she's just on another world and gone long enough people assume she's dead... we see lightning being controllable... part of game may be her journey to return and reunite.

and wth, snow risk his life to save serah and she hooks up with noel? ungrateful *person*. lol
nah, think snow is missing too probably same thing that made lightning disappear.

noel looks like the lead kid from kingdom hearts.. kinda

Final Fantasy XIII-2 due in December, PS3 version of FFXIII being updated

Square Enix announced today that the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XIII-2 will see release in December of this year.

The game's official site was also fully opened today. The page now has background music, a section showing off the game's characters, the E3 trailer (with English voices, but Japanese subtitles), a wallpaper download, and the text of the Final Fantasy XIII novel that was included with the Xbox 360 version of FFXIII.

The character section currently contains just Noel Kreiss, the new character who appeared in the E3 trailer.

Square Enix also announced today that it will be updating the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII with the Easy Mode that was added to last year's Xbox 360 release. This update will be available for free and will arrive alongside the July 21 release of the Ultimate Hits budget version of the PS3 title.

The update will take place automatically when you boot up the game while connected to PSN. After the update, you'll be able to select "Easy Mode" when starting a new game. You can also switch difficulties midway through the game.

IMO lightning just go for long time ~.~ and no one seems to know any news about lightning and they assume lightning dead

the gameplay look so more solid..

can't see the vid (at office), but the gameplay still "Press O" all the time during combat?

i think so...

still in the beginning of the game... well, in the battle u still paradigm shift the same way like FFXIII but before you enter a fight there is a system for you to engage with call the mog clock.... the little moggle that follow u will basically show the enemy status whether they are vulnerable for preemptive fight, ready for standard battle or alerted which comes with penalty.. so u have to press at specific time before it goes full alert...

and the monster you won the battle with u can even summon or call (i think) it to fight with you... which is kinda cool... i duno if you can only summon specific kind of monster or what.. and also there is the action button abit like god of war or something to carry out certain huge combo attack... which I think comes later cuz the gameplay trailer din show except for the official trailer..

i can't fully hyped this game bc i afraid it will become another ffxiii-2

i cannot brain this.

Noel sounds kinda like the guy who did Nero's voice.

i still think FFXIII-2 will be better than FFX-2 if thats wat u mean...
