Final Fantasy Producer Yoshinori Kitase took center stage at this year’s Xbox 360 Media Briefing in Japan to discuss details on the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII, including pricing, extra content, as well as marketing for the title.

In addition to the “Easy Mode” being added to the Japanese 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII, Yoshinori Kitase revealed today at Microsoft’s Xbox media briefing that they will also include a book entitled “Corridor of Memory”. Even more interesting is the inclusion of scenes that were cut from the final draft of the original game, as well as a post-game event entitled “Final Fantasy XIII: Episode i”.

Kitase also mentioned that a new commercial featuring the game will be released in Japan today. The game has already been confirmed to have English and Japanese voices and subtitles as well as the song “My Hands” by Leona Lewis. This version of the game will release on December 16th of this year. The game will be published under Square Enix’ Ultimate Hits International Line, at a price of 4,980 Yen (about 60 US dollars).
