hi there, wondering how long did you wait for your parcel? i applied the isavvy account on 17 Jan 2017, but until today still not yet receive anything. did call Maybank MY but they ask me refer to the branch that i open the account. Since the staff told me i have to wait around 1 month, so i didn't call them yet.

hello,

for my case, i think i received it by the 3rd week of my application date. in between the 3rd week and 4th week i received a call to check with me if i received all the letters containing the information to activate my account.

perhaps you can email to maybank SG customer service instead to follow up? they only need you to provide your name, IC number, date of application and type of account that you will be opening. kindly state in the email for them to call you(state your +601X malaysia number) rather than email.

by then, they will be able to advise you on your account status.

hope the above helps.

Why take so long?
(i) the branch you send don't have Singapore full address hence it get return and the staff (MY staff). (happened to me)
(ii) Did you send with TIN (tax number)? It's a new criteria from Maybank SG.

(i) not sure about this , but i read thru all the comments by others , some of them received the parcel slightly more than 1 month , in my case, there is CNY holiday in between , so i think it is reasonable to take that long
(ii) i didn't do this, cause no people ask me to do so? i didn't receive any phone call from SG sides also

and bro, how is ur current application status now?

They won't call you. The MY officer which handle you will email you asking you to submit the form.

Current application. Let me tell my story.
1. My application was submitted on Dec.
2. Check with Maybank SG by Jan (1 month later)
3. Told me they never received. Told me to check with Maybank MY.
4. Checked with Maybank MY (they didn't call me/email me anything). Apparently Pos Laju sort of "lost it"
5. It was never even sended according to Maybank MY as the details are not completed (Maaybank MY fault bangwall.gif ranting.gif )
6. Resend.
7. Within 1-2 week received by Maybank SG as they email my officer asking for FACTA form (income tax from by the US)
8. They got back to me. Told me they don't accept emailed copies. Told me to submit hard copies to Maybank MY

Not within my justification. It was maybank part. I have no say in which courier they use.
