If you're going to play on Ad-Hoc v1.0, I suggest voice chat. 1.0 has a chat bug where it will mess up your chat box after a certain amount of messages are displayed.

If you want to avoid having that problem, use the JP Ad-Hoc v1.4 iirc.

Which one should we play.

FYI those have MHU (EU), MHU U(S) and MHP2G can connect to each other.

The numbers will drop drastically after their trial period runs out and they find out all the hidden fees you have to pay in Frontier.

Back when I played it during the PC version launch, there were more than 50k people online everyday. A month later, the numbers dropped to about 1-2k.

I was looking into it but too much hassle.
You need to obtain someone's SSN (Identity Card No.) from the relevant country in order to play the game.

Not only you need to "steal" someone's identity, you also rob the privilege of the person if he/she happens to want to play MHF.

That's the korean version. The JP version requires you to mask your IP by using VPN because they filter all foreign IPs even those ISPs in Japan which provides their customers with foreign IPs. Same goes to the Xbox 360 version.

What time is good for you? For me 8pm weekdays are good.
