cox GL tend to get near to damage them.

Well bring some flash bang. use it when u wan to heal up, sharpen or run away or anything.
bring a weapon with good sharpness so that it won't bounce when fight kaiser or teostra.( I Don't quite recommend dragon GL, it blunt too
easily compare other GL element, unless u use ESP skill)
p/s: if you are using another weapon element get a cat with slashing only, train him on dragon element.( i always let my cat break the horn )

Well i prefer water gunlance

one of the main reason is. i can handle plesioth using GL head on.

well i prefer sharpness +1 and sharpen( won't blunt so easily)
i don like auto guard, i prefer guard manually, as u know the small mob will be there
to annoy u when fighting boss, so what if they come attack plus boss attack, stamina sure bye bye faster.
plus i prefer to hit and run or hit, combo and run.
but it's your choice on how to fight, as GL always need to have strategy and right eq to fight monster

for sure stab only, the shelling shot is just to help u continue attacking in combo. but usually i will use up around 10 whetstone or less when fighting boss
except for big boss it could be more.

if not mistaken GL wyvern fire has change to slash down, wyvern fire if not mistaken.
and it seem like no cd which is a good news for us GL

i like to face him using my electric GL.
First thing to do, cut off the tail then time to blind him.
Stand at his right side and focus on his head. he's a sitting duck when he is in blind mode.

Full Generator, I like to use this also fighting againts crabm, wyvern, plesioth and some other monster that weak againts electric.

Yes this monster is pain in the ass.
it did took me 50 mins below to kill this fatty gravios.
using sea king GL, full ceanataur amour(terra armour).
using 3 pitfall and 1 shock trap and some other basic item.
i rather kill dual black gravios than killing a single monster.
