by the way, who the heck think of this package name....pakej jalur lebar bla bla bla . When you tell this pakej name to the clueless tm staff, they will say jalur lebar = broadband...apa package...then start to point to coolunipack, blockbuster deals............... have to keep explaining only they understand.

meaning to say, they dun reli know lah.. seriously, thise staff can provide some lolz here...

I went to a tm point and asked this package.

That staff told me something funny though.

You are using jalur lebar what. I'm like yea I know I am using jalur lebar, but you guys promote a package name jalur lebar not that line I am using is jalur lebar. And she is like I dunno lol

hahahaha, thats what I get also when I told the staff that I want to ask for information on the package jalur lebar TM. She say all also jalur lebar and ask is it unifi , told her got free netbook then she say coolunipack . after few minutes of explaining only she remember about the new package. Then she say this package is subsidize by the govt for low income/poor people and only low cost housing area(<50K) may apply

do not simply apply for 4mbps streamyx package..... i previously using 1mbps package i found my line kinda slow then i saw this combo upgrade to 4mbps....then i call up 100 to enquirer. tat said they cannot check from there and ask me to go tm point to enquirer again. i went there i fill in form and everything. they said they cannot check in the system. so i have to wait and they will get back to me see if my area is supported with the 4mbps package or not. after 2-3 working days. i found my internet speed performance did increase. i'm so happy about tat. but at the same time my nightmare started as well. for 1 week 4mbps was kinda stable but after 1 week i got this slow connection problem the speed i'm getting is about 2mbps. and frequently disconnection problem. i call up 100 and make report. at first they ignore my report. then i called up again to make another report and asked for rebate on tat matter. and again my internet went nuts again i called again and this time they sent 2 technicians to my place and check the line for me. the funniest jokes is i been using streamyx for 6 years+ now. Till tat day onli i found out my line were onli stable for 512kbps. event not so stable for 1mbps not to say 4 mbps. And at the same time i heard the technician said they planning to implement the fiber optics line soon for my area. so i though i hold on to my package first. months by months pass by. i called up again they said they are still in the planning and dunno when they gonna implement the fiber optic line. So called BANDAR DIRAJA KLANG. BUT THE LINES HERE SUX BIG TIME.

you can take steps to improve your line, maybe post your modem SNR stats at 4MB thread so we can have a look

nah there is no way to improve my line. do trust me i try everything i know and even the technicians said the same thing
they use a detector amd tap into my phone line and checked the data. i got a very bad data signal for my line.... so
i not encouraging people who stay in old area to upgrade to 4mbps...... now coz of this jalur lebar i thought of cancelling my 4mbps and re apply for new 1mbps....



but i did asked them to rebate for me kekekkeek or else i will report to CFM and sue telekom.

since they all are so dumb, nex time when u guys visit TM Point to ask bout it just ask them to go into their own Screamyx website and look at the brochure!! it's even in their own website and they dont know?!?

went to TM Point as promised this afternoon, just to be sure I asked 2 different TM staff, first staff said , you can't apply at TMPoint, you can only apply at specially setup booths that promoting this..reffering to kampung kampung area...another staff said certain TM Point only have this promotion again hinting or reffering to kampung kampung area only ...I did bring along the brochure...aiyoh...

They said to register interest for 1Malaysia service (in a nice big ledger type book) then they will send someone over to your house to survey household.

Already a lot of names there.
