But from the broucher I get from TM Point I apply say phone line rental included o. If not included how to say give to orang berpandapatan rendah o?
*
shud be included lah..nowadays, paying an extra for the phone rental besides the stremaYX BILL is sooo outdated...in fact, thse analogue phone are still in existance is because Tm force people to get land line in order to use their service... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif so these rental is kinda redundant... cool2.gif cool2.gif

Let me quote from the FAQ:
QUOTE

Which means, this package is only for low-income families and stayed outside USP areas. What are the USP areas? What is USP?

I quote from http://www.skmm.gov.my/index.php?c=public&...view&art_id=98:

And from http://www.digicbc.com/:

You could check the latest list of USP areas here:

Smart! I just wonder why TM won't let users to upgrade existing packages since it could be done so this way. rclxub.gif

Correction, the areas appear in the LIST are USP areas. "Pakej Jalur Lebar TM dgn Komputer 1Malaysia" is meant for people staying outside the USP areas, meaning people staying in areas that DO NOT APPEAR IN THE LIST.

This is government's way to improve broadband penetration. What they think is, since you already have broadband at home, then you wont be contributing to the statistics anyways.

The reason this area targeting is made, is because the area under consideration, most people there don't have broadband anyways.

Then let's help the government to increase the statistics by subscribing to a new TM line to take up this promotion. 1Malaysia BOLEH!

Damn, I heard the netbook for the Cool Unipack is "out."

Since the netbook for the Unipack is "out," I might ask my dad to upgrade his current Streamyx to this. biggrin.gif

Is it possible to upgrade though?
We're living in Puchong, and we definitely fulfill the criteria of <5k household income.

What will happen if the poor people live in USP area?

Can they subscribe?

Anyways, people overseas in developed countries are still paying lower prices per megabit than this new package.

But still at least they kept their promise at lowering the prices, just hoped that do it for all and not selected areas only.

I wonder if the Natsys has an extra PCI-e slot to take the HD accelerator like the HP Mini 210
Pity neither has HDMI port.
