QUOTE(Jajay Chong Hon Keat @ Dec 19 2011, 04:03 PM) Have not seen the Toyota oil but bought the Pennzoil before. Outside around RM195, got it at around RM135 if not mistakenAdded on December 19, 2011, 6:18 pm QUOTE(VeeJay @ Dec 19 2011, 05:23 PM) The cheapest, I found was Bardhal, hence using the full synthetic oil for the past 2 years... no complains Yup, was using this for a few years too......This post has been edited by vr2turbo: Dec 19 2011, 06:18 PM |

To me, all oil about the same. If NA car use Semi Synthetic good enough. Use any reputable brand.
If driving forced induction you may want to use FS. Brand wise up to your budget. I am using the cheapest available and change them more often..... |

QUOTE(blueskylim @ Dec 21 2011, 04:39 PM) Not too sure of AGIP. Very old famous brand. To me all oil about the same (branded), all depends what you want to use, from mineral to SS to FS and what viscosity too.....My car are 1.8 and 2.0 and are old. Oil recommended are 40 weight, so have not venture towards 30. |

QUOTE(zeone @ Dec 26 2011, 05:27 PM) Such claims are (if done) ONLY valid under very strict fully-supervised lab test conditions eg as in Mobil 1 tests. Those under constant speed and less stress...... Does NOT apply in day2day driving and road/city/rural conditions nor w/o strict control and various conditions (which normal car users nvr comply) set for such tests!! |

Added on December 27, 2011, 4:54 pm QUOTE(huakenny @ Dec 27 2011, 01:17 PM) proton use xW40 better la.... agree, can use 40 weight, no need 50.....xW30 is better response but less engine protection. internal engine worn out faster compare to xW40. depending on ur driving behavior so depends wat u wan, better response less protection plz use xW30 better protection less response xW40 very good protection but no power xW50, xW60 This post has been edited by vr2turbo: Dec 27 2011, 04:54 PM |
