It's not easy to find 10w-50 engine oil in the market...

Guess I have to visit my mechanic fren for a better check up and see what's going on.

Again, I think I should let my mechanic have a check on what is going wrong of my engine 1st. If there is nothing abnormal detected, I shall consider using Q8 engine oil and observe it again.

That is because mineral oil cannot manufacture into low w viscosity and mostly starts at 15w.
SS have in 5w and 10w, and only FS comes in 0w.

That is the list selling price for local Mobil 5w-50.
Try Tesco, theirs are from the EU, should be at RM199 for 4L. Sales times as low as RM149, sometimes RM169.

In the first place why want to use FS? It is more expensive also. To me unless it is high performance engine then use FS, if not, I don't think much difference, since viscosity is very close.....

You better check with the SC, if they allow using own oil. If yes, then okay, but most SC don't allow..... sad.gif

bro...both semi n fully perform is totally difference.....
