Hi anyone know if we can sort items in a folder created on a homescreen? I'm pretty sure I checked all possible options and think the answer should be a big fat NO, but anyways here's hoping that I missed out something.....guys any insights?
*
i think there's a folder option when u want to add sumtin to the home screen? u can add by creating a new folder.

Thanks but that's not what I meant. I've created and renamed folders on the homescreen to organise programs i.e. Games folder, I can add items in the folder, remove them but I can't rearrange or sort the programs IN the folder.
*
can u add shortcuts in that folder? surely drag n drop cannot eh?

Guys,

Have anybody experience issue or problem when using the Bluetooth on/off widget? I notice that after a few times on/off using the widget, it hangs - the message of Bluetooth is turn off doesn't go away and I am unable to turn off the bluetooth. The only way I can "kill" the message is by turning off the phone and turning on again. Can anybody help?

The quickoffice that come installed with the Desire when you buy it from Maxis is read only right? I would assume we need to purchase to upgrade it to edit version? I have recently downloaded another application on Document to Go which allow editing. Anybody use that before? Should I uninstall the quick office before installing this application?
*
im having this problem also at times, but not most of the times. i guess the only way is to turn off the phone as u did.

u dont need to uninstall that quick office unless u dont need it anymore, it will not bother other apps.

guys...which matte SP is better for desire?because i heard that some matte Sp will make the screen become darker and not so nice..
*
clear, is the best one if u want to view the beauty of AMOLED.
matte is where when u dislike fingerprints,
mirror is when u want ur desire to look cool
privacy is where u dont want others to sneak at what u r doin.

QUOTE(johnsontys @ Jun 22 2010, 05:36 PM)
Called up Maxis yesterday and ask about the promo with HTC desire. I am actually thinking of buying a second set for my wife. She is a maxis subscriber but currently under my family package. I asked if I can buy the phone on the promo price if I upgrade the supplementary line to the data plan and sign for 12 months ....they ask around and the answer is YES! Wow!

Now in a dilemma - Should I buy this phone for her now, the only setback is the phone battery really suck big time and I am sure women user don't like it...not a matter for me since I am charging it all the time...or should I wait a bit longer for the new OS
*
if not u can wait for the Samsung Galaxy S to come out to maxis this friday, both also is almost the same specs, but samsung have Super AMOLED. at least u have variety of phone to try on.

Does it have the same problem like my current Diamond? Whereby when you are connected to the WiFi, it is still utilizing the 3G data connection from your provider and thus, still being charged? Is there a way to determine which connection to use?
*
in my case, when it detects wifi, it will turn off the 3g data connection automatically.
