Gud Luck..well, for Asus A42Jv, sure still got some stock available i guess while Lenovo Y460, might be hard to find one
Added on July 2, 2010, 9:18 am QUOTE(GooD_DaY @ Jul 2 2010, 08:31 AM) Well, Tri-Core means that it have 3 cores in one CPU, while Dual-Core only got 2 cores...which means with 3 cores, you can do a lot more tasks without burdening the CPU on processes, same goes with 2 cores but the performance sure lacks a bit from a 3 cores Simple example : One house got 3 cars while another only got 2 cars....so which is more merrier and can do a lot of stuffs?? Sure the house with 3 cars This post has been edited by miahahaha: Jul 2 2010, 09:21 AM |

QUOTE(chubipower @ Jul 6 2010, 04:17 PM) hi guys. 1. A42Jvi'm weighing between asus a42jv and acer 4820tg. which of these 2 is better in terms of: 1. playing games / video editing 2. screen - i dont like very reflective surface 3. heat/temperature control 2. Both are the same 3. 4820TG is slightly cooler than A42Jv but the heat is not a problem for both of the models |

QUOTE(markypcs @ Jul 7 2010, 07:07 PM) Which is better? For an overall winner, it goes to A42Jv Asus A42Jv or A42Jk? Jk processor is i5-520 and jv is only i5-450. Does it really make a difference or just slight improvement? Jk : ATI 5145 1GB DDR3 Jv : Nvidia GT335M 1GB DDR3 How does the g card compare to each other? The price isn't that far apart too. How about those laptops compared with Acer Aspire 5741G-524G50MN Nvidia GT 320M 4GB DDR3 @2999 If you want a big screen, then 5471G is a good choice but still lose in overall performance compared to A42Jv Added on July 7, 2010, 8:25 pm QUOTE(miickies @ Jul 7 2010, 04:40 PM) Any Laptop Recommend for spec : Dell Vostro 3700 suits you best, and all the requirements already pointing to it For online gaming and medium Performance application uses. 17'' Above (more concern on 17'' above) Intel i3 above or AMD 2.3 ghz above Build-In Web-Cam 1 x 2mb Ram DDR3 (upgradeable) Video Card (Better then medium type graphic game) Brand : DELL , ACER , ASUS , HP .. Or recomend Budget : RM 2800 This post has been edited by miahahaha: Jul 7 2010, 08:25 PM |

Some that you might consider looking at : Sony Vaio EA16, i5 520M + ATi HD5650@RM3999 Sony Vaio CW26, i5 520M + Nvidia GT 330M, 1600x900@RM3699 Lenovo Y460, i5 430M + ATi HD5650@RM3299~~i5 540M@RM3499 Asus N82Jq, i7 720QM + Nvidia GT335M@RM4499 *Asus N82Jv , i5 520M + GT335M @RM3999 --> This model is quite hard to find but its better than A42Jv Added on July 8, 2010, 8:15 ambtw, aren't M11x is too small for the apps that you want to run?? QUOTE(fatwei @ Jul 10 2010, 09:53 AM) MSI CX420 Core i5 , 2GB , 500GB , win7 home premium 64bit, ATI 5470 1GB DDR3 @ RM2299 at LYP , Imbi & Time Square CPU wise, yes the MSI is better than Dell...GPU is the same, but as we all know that Dell gives the best warranty service (after sales service), not saying that MSI service is no good http://asia.msi.com/index.php?func=proddes...80&prod_no=1991 so this is cheaper compared to the dell inspiron 14R? http://configure.ap.dell.com/dellstore/con...T510442MY&s=dhs and it performs betteR? |
