QUOTE(jasontantenghuat @ Jul 1 2010, 11:09 PM) My AT 3000rpm at 110kmh. mine is about 2.5k rpm when reach 100km. Added on July 1, 2010, 11:46 pmQUOTE(jasondotcom @ Jul 1 2010, 12:11 PM) 1. Taking screws from another stock car is just plain irresponsible. Malaysian mentality. 2. No my car doors are easy to close. In ur case, perhaps u need to send to SC to have it re-adjusted properly. Most likely the door locking mechanisms are not properly aligned with the door lock striker. For mine, my driver door needs to be re-adjusted because if i didn't close properly.. the door could suddenly open again but of course not fully opened because there is a secondary safety lock that prevents that. For me, i will be adjusting it myself. Easy easy la. Btw, if ur gonna send it for adjustments, request them to re-grease the hinges and locks at the doors for you. It helps pretty much as well. 3. Salesman utterly loves talking crap. No crap no sales. You believe the salesman? Not one salesman i met is honest enough. 4. Below drawer that you mentioned. Yes there is a "hole" there. I also believe Proton could have designed a cover to cover up that part. Added on July 1, 2010, 12:12 pmCan why not! will send to SC and check. besides, these 2 days i drive without turn on any music to monitor the car, i notice that the some sorf of air-con sound come from front passenger seat under the drawer there... is it normal? it come out periodically. i noticed that another problem after 2 days drive the new PE H-line. There is some metal knocking sound come from front driver side (near the top of obsorber area) when doing cornering to left hand side and it happen when on unflat road. it is very obvious when i going up parking lot which turn around with the round shape all the way go up and with the unflat road all the way.
what do u guys think of it? what is the possibility?

Damn Proton! I thought they have solved that issue. I bet its the orifice valve needed to be installed into the power steering line near the tank. Once installed it will be 99% ok. Go SC tell them. Added on July 2, 2010, 11:19 amBtw, do u guys know that the redline of this car is about 7.2 / 7.3k? Try revving it to the max till it hits the rev limiter. Anyway just FYI. I wonder why they put 6.5 as the redline on the gauge. But then since engine power drops before that......so that does not matter though. So thats why orifice valve needed to be fitted into the steering power line under the power steering reserve tank. Get it fitted! Anyway it costs about RM3 plus per piece and ya u need one only. And for me, it solved 99% of the sound.

QUOTE(Kevio @ Jul 1 2010, 09:36 PM) So how does the red look under the sun? Is it nice? Is it slightly orange red? Can seem to see an actual Persona Elegance Brilliant-Red on the road yet. I'm thinking of getting this colour too but still undecided... Added on July 1, 2010, 9:44 pmMay i know why? I'll take some photos and post it up tomorrow. In the mean time, here's a quick pic I took last week at around 6pm. Color's a bit off due to the camera. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Drive-by-wire has this lag which is quite noticeable to some, including me. Maybe if Proton had programmed the ECU better.. This post has been edited by d3x: Jul 2 2010, 03:32 PM

nope..they dont solve it yet. mine also got that sound..and to make it worse, the tech and service advisor wont listen to me when i request them to install the valve for me..the tech claimed he already tighted some nuts and ask me to test first..but the sound still there..really fed up with proton edar..can we request the valve at authorised SC?
