Hi guys, I just got my red HL a few days ago. Everything is okay so far.

Only one thing I don't like is the accelerator latency. There's just too much lag when I step on the gas and when the engine kicks in. Is this normal? Can I send it to the SC and tell them to reduce the latency?

btw I'm comparing this to a 20-year-old Volvo I used to drive. That one had extremely low lag.

I'm aware of this; I actually read the manual.

But it can't be this bad, can it? Can't Proton adjust the ECU programming or something?

I took the red; waited almost 3 months because my sales agent is useless/incompetent. Anyhoo, the color is a different shade of red when it is under different lighting conditions. It looks best at night.

I don't like the drive-by-wire throttle, but I like the leather seats.

I'll take some photos and post it up tomorrow. In the mean time, here's a quick pic I took last week at around 6pm. Color's a bit off due to the camera.

Drive-by-wire has this lag which is quite noticeable to some, including me. Maybe if Proton had programmed the ECU better..

There is an option in the menu under Volume, On Volume.

I waited about a week or two before removing the stickers. At that point, peeling them off was soooooo easy.
