Anyone knows how to check how many hours of panel usage for samsung? Couldnt find it on the net.

Just found out that this TV can play all my MKVs

What I meant that I just need to plug in my external harddisk and the TV software will be able to play it. Can even decode DTS.

Now I can place my WDTV elsewhere.

Owners, new firmware is available now . Going to update it today.
Just go to samsung malaysia and look under support-download centre. Look for the tv model and choose firmware.

Added on May 26, 2010, 8:12 amJust play around with the tv after firmware update. I can honestly think that the black level is become much better, as well as the calour saturation. Now Im really happy with this TV.

harvey norman and best denki are the most 'secured' retailers but prepare to pay more . on occasion where they want to clear stocks or promotion , sometimes their pricing is okay

otherwise go to chinaman shops but be prepared for 'capalang' after sales service. this chinaman can blow hot and cold.some are good though

some forummers here will do as well

really hard to decide between this sammy and the panny non- 3D ,V series

bro, when you played ur mkv files, how was it? i tried played mine yesterday, but after halfway it started to hang once a while. have u experiance it?

So far so good, even the Avatar 1080p works smoothly. Fast forwarding works smoothly.

Longest playing time is 4 hours non stop.

Some movie becomes blocky during certain scenes but that is due to the encoding since it like that on my pc. Even wdtv also cannot process those blocky scenes.

BTW because of this tv, I have to redownload all my 720 mkv with the 1080p version

can anyone tell me how much will be 50c6500 n 58c6500, plan to buy before world cup start

if 58" at bangi the price tag is 12.9k, but if ask maybe can get it for sub 10k.

I bought it at bandar baru bangi at 5K. Shop name is supreme.... something. There are shops that selling it for 4.8K, but I dont know where (forumer told me).

Anyway guys , do u all know how to off the advertisment on the version 6 functions like the internet and hyper real engine , when they appear on the bottom of my plasma panel ? it seems to come out each time when i use the remote control , and its quite annoying for i have to manually wait for it to go off = (

Have'nt happen to me. Im pretty sure its in the menu somewhere.

i've seen it somewhere in the manual, it should be for demo purpose and you can reset it back to normal.. could it be your set is a display set??
