As for the broadcom card , i am not sure of the price. The review , just go to youtube and see it for yourself

Its a fine catch there , the netbook is not free and you're paying for it. Part of it also goes to TM , its a win-win situation for both of the parties

Yes if its registered under your name and you're opting for an upgrade. My friend did this exactly , he changed 1Mbps which is under contract to 4Mbps , its because the phone name and streamyx is registered under his name. If its registered under someone elses name , then you're out of luck. You gotta terminate , wait and re-apply. But if you're still under contract and upgrade , yep its possible.

Your DSL status does not provide Line Att. Again if it does not disconnect , line is stable then dont bother much. Lately thanks to the number of 4Mbps users , 218.111 ip is now back like any other regular IP. So again dont bother much even a lot of 4Mbps users are suffering .its not just you alone

You can't downgrade it. You should have done something , well my other option is to upgrade to combo or some other plan which is kinda cheaper anyway .

If you're a student and if your name gets blacklisted at this age. It will be hard to apply credit card , phone lines few others. You'll have a black mark. Not recommend

Its maintained by the telecos if its teleco , it gets stored to a centralised system. I am not sure how it works fully , but then if you did not pay them. At most its going to be a lawyer letter. If you did not buy the lawyers letter most likely see you in court or we'll whip you. Thats why just settle all and have a clean credit record.

Just love how people make demands now. First 3-cells , then 6-cells and then you would say 9-cells. Well giving the free netbook itself a thing. Look at the number of people who are selling it for cash. So if you ask me , that itself is a big plus point of the ability to sell the netbook back with 2 years warranty rather then 1 year.

They do ask for IC and for the person to be there , they do verify. So you cant just ask someone on behalf or things like that. As for address if its valid , its your responsibility to call HP and check with them when you get your order number so that its all correct.

OMG , most of you guys are very impatient. Have you even asked the guy how hes working. TMNet does not even inform them when , they have to check it everyday , some of them don't even own a computer yet. Its not going to be superfast jump or something. Basically its still going to be a slow and sluggish processor. I am using N280 , after OCing Windows gives me a score of 2.7 for the CPU and yet it feels sluggish -whereas a similar Pentium 4 with a score of 3.1 it feels smoother. The atom is an underpowered CPU , no matter how fast the clock speed is , that is , its going to be slow. That is unless Intel revamps their Atom lineup to be much more powerful. Oh wait they have done that , its called Intel Core ULV series

you just registered for streamyx. Again wait after streamyx has been installed and after that call up hp (after 2-3 days when streamyx has been installed) to get the tracking number to track. But for now you gotta wait

Look , the the new one just has DDR3 memory controller. No matter how fast the new one is , its still an Atom. Meh , go ask anyone who uses an Atom the difference between the N2xx and N4xx series , its barely noticeable.
