It simply means that if you say "goodbye" to your contract earlier , in other words if you would like to cancel your streamyx earlier then what you've agreed upon (i.e 2 years contract) , then TM would charge you RM 600.00 and you'll have to return their crappy modem back to them. This also includes for those who are shifting their streamyx from one place to another (i.e shifting out)

How many times do I have to say this

Its an Atom. Its not your average laptop whereby you can open 10 tabs on facebook mafia wars + listen to WMP + MSn with 15 of your buddies and torrent. It cant take all those task , cause Atom is just like a Pentium III. Upgrading to 64-bit is even more dumber in sense that now memory consumption will double unless you upgrade the ram to 2GB. The way to reduce is by not running heavy stuff

Its just nice if you want to open 1-2 tab and surf. Cut WMP , get a lightweight media player. MPC Home Cinema is a good choice. Cut Firefox , get Google Chrome. Few examples that you can do. If you insist on firefox , get adblock plus

Most of the folks think its a laptop. For gods sake its a netbook

A lot of you need to understand. 64-bit will run no doubt , you can run all 32-bit application in 64-bit. But remember that 32-bit apps on 64-bit suffer a bit of performance loss as there is a layer which translates 32-bit calls into 64-bit ones (or was it the other way around) , a translator which allows you to run 32-bit apps on 64-bit. Now the thing is that its going to take some performance hit. Secondly , to run 64-bit , Microsoft recommends 2GB at least. When you run 64-bit application it takes up twice the memory space or even more

You want a fast OS just for surfing , go try ubuntu netbook remix. Its bloody fast , good for if you want to play facebook games , surf the web , chat via MSN and a little bit of document editing.

64-bit Windows 7 for netbook is worth it when it runs nvidia ION aka Atom N4xx series + Nvidia GeForce 9400M. Then yes , that netbook you can play the latest games in 800x600 or even in 1024x600.

Anyway TM requires you to show you real student ID first. So you cant fool with them on that one. Applying thru agent , well go ahead , dont blame if your application gets delayed or put into some crappy TMpoint centre

Its to cut cost , these days its just inside your partition. If you want to make it as a CD , you could do it by yourself.
